The Black Rivers' Edge has been Revamped

end of winter, had to capture some waters' edge plantlife...

a close up of one of those bushy pampas-like plants that are all over the place, edge of freeways, edge of waterways.

new roadway/parking and a walkway, too. Surprise.

ok, here be my Julia Starr SUNSTARR lol

melting snow leaves the little puddly lagoon like areas around and about..

cleared out this area which used to be overgrown, couldn't see thru the plants and trees and bushes. Now wide open area....not sure I like it.

kind of a cool fence anyway.

this sunstar got shot all to hell with lensflare but sort of a cool shot.

leaving the parking area, up on the road (Strawberry Lane) just outside the park "Bakers Field" saw this little tree stump...

looking at the river, can't see as it is downhill, but see the new parking area anyway, and the businesses across the river on Pine Grove Ave., the main northend Fort Gratiot business area...Burger King, etc are over there.

just a texture shot, I'm thinking...

the infamous "I missed the damned ducks" shot. Just got the water of the Black River. Better than nothing. Least not iced over.

rocks form the waters' edge. they'll think up a barrier before u know it.

Rock close up. Texture? prob not. rocks.

more plant life, or pre life

water edge

and that be it. least I got my butt outside.
