rich in spirit

,

well, yes i'm rich in spirit. even though i might complain sometimes i am one of the lucky few with a full life and much to look forward to. but following is a little ditty i churned out a few days ago... might make you laugh.

also another sample page of the calendar i made (you can see and use all the months by printing from the larger pictures in the new album called calendar.

My car is on empty
my heart is on hold
there's a lot of gold in this world
or so i am told
i dream of what i could do
before i'm too old
if only they'd let go of
just some of that gold.

Hi Scott--Loved the poem and the calendar page. You should open a free Paypal account so we can buy these pages from you. It's very generous for you to give them away, but you need to eat, my man!

Looking forward to your next entry.

Hi, Scott. Charging for things is, unfortunately, how it's "done" in this world. You're a generous man to offer your extraordinary talent to all of us here.
The quote is outstanding, as is the poem. And the drawing is exquisite. Thanks for sharing it.

Do like Henry Miller, send a letter around asking for stuff and things... or put a paypal button on your blog, if people have a little gold to spare.

now that's a brilliant idea david... i will investigate the process immediately... now why didn't i think of that?

or, they have a way with me... it's all those books i read. the words have taken over in the kingdom of my mind and are all pushing to get used at once.
