the ocean

here is the ocean
emerald and sapphire
abundance
ejaculating plumes of foam
infinitely swelling in perpetuity
ineffable
translucent emerald and jade
pure white
in jumbling confusion
always new, always old
swelling and curling and crashing
as if shocked by rocks
how welcomed by the sandy shore
and then gently sent
back to the other side of the world

guess where i spent the day.

i did count them... sixteen but now... i don't have time to count them after all these new ones. it is very tempting to just go k crazy.

things do tend to come in bunches like bananas.

for example; i'm going out right now to get some yellow ink, lemons, butter and bananas. that's all i need. and they're all yellow. spooky. no doubt i'll see a kindly kangaroo with yellow boxer shorts.
