Thank you, Scott! Not only did you fulfill the original request but you answered my questions with flair!

I'm sure I'd like to be able to at least observe your dinner party (if not join in...to meet Lautrec, if for no other reason!) and the bonus photo is beautiful and inviting.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to create a most enjoyable post. :D

thank you for the gracious comment... makes it all worth while. now, the hard part. according to the rules, i have to tag five more people.
well, i'll think about that tomorrow.

no one will mind, i'm sure, being tagged with this one.
it's a good set of questions which can lead to a very interesting thought process.

Nice list!!!

Your table is always so colorful and inviting, and the way one should enjoy a meal. This society is so fast food oriented it's nice to see others sitting down to enjoy a meal, at a table...in their home!

i never thought of family for those choices... after reading your answers, i would include at least my father's grandfather, so i could question him about his adventures and philosophy.

and robert louis stevenson, a direct ancestor on my mother's side. wouldn't he be entertaining?

Robert Louis Stevenson, the author and poet??
Scott he will be really entertaining. So many trips ,so popular, so skillful! Great DNA you have.
I will definitely be the waitress.

he didn't have any children but his grandfather was the same as my mother's gggrandfather... hope i got that right. i've done the research because my mother showed me what they call 'collateral' and that was letters written in his own hand that she had been given by her mother, frances ethel stevenson. well, all that's kind of cool, but i have much more fun imagining the cumming history... back in the 12th century there was the 'red' cumming and then the 'black' cumming... they were early kings of scotland. true 'highlanders' it's still the largest county in scotland. i am not warlike but somehow i can't help but admire those ferocious highlanders.

anyway, we're all related. if you go back 32 generations, you share the dna of over a million individuals.

By I_ArtMan, # 30. March 2008, 03:34:12

this kind of background is making me "imagining the cumming history...."
between the black and red, the combination made wonders for the creation of Scott!do you still have the letters??
thanks for sharing,
(sneaky confession: I am going to find out more about the this black/red think .It sounds more exciting by the minute:D)
