Blossoming workshop

Beauty blossoms in the heart
Of harmonious being
Intelligence too must play its part
And forces three for seeing

Push yourself to be fine and fit
Mop the floors and wipe the windows
For the mansions gardens to be seen
Keep the rose garden clipped and green

The god of love needs your care
If you are good then he’ll be fair

The painter honors god with work
Done wholly with noble conscience clear
He paints the elegance of the stork
And loves the delicacy of the deer

He paints for love and love alone
And if he is good the work will be fair

The painter’s love knows no drear fear
For while he works he’s not alone
The dark side demon turns to stone
Workshop life grows year by year

The worker is hidden in the workshop

Hello my sweet Scott.

After all this time my dear, you still leave me breathless.

Love
Eve

Hi there Scott, What a great poem  I specially like the verse:
The painter’s love knows no drear fear
For while he works he’s not alone
The dark side demon turns to stone
Workshop life grows year by year

...and I also love your art work. You are my loved and gifted friend and I am very pleased to know you.

An artist
must paint
or carve
a thing
to give
it life,
or ever say

"That moment passed,
I did not mean to let it go
"

and then
must bear
the memory
of doing so.

PS: Eve has the same effect on me. Coincidence or what?

your poem relates to my experience. i try not to miss those opportunities... and what is remarkable is that sometimes the
distraction is something like some little detail which isn't even
very important... then it's too late.
that's why i am never without a little pad in my back pocket and some
kind of writing tool... always. at least i can jot down something which
will jog my memory.

or what? probably it's an alignment of affinities.just kindred souls i assume.

thanks for your warm comment.
