That song's been stuck in my head all morning, just needed to get it out there!!!
We have a really odd winter, seriously. It's cold one day then hot the next and on and on it goes, the worst days are when it's really hot in the sun but really cold in the shade, ugh what is one supposed to do, let alone wear, in that weather! But anyway I was just thinking about the way winter sort of creeps up on you. It starts with the dryness, dry hands, dry skin, peeling nose, the dry lips (especially tragic if you're prone to cold sores and all that, thank goodness I'm not! ). And then the cold mornings, the icy water in the taps, watery eyes and runny noses from the cold air then the frozen fingers and toes nothing good can come from winter, and don't say snow does, because it doesn't even snow here, so bleh! Occasionally I would walk to school and I remember my eyes would water and roll off my cheeks non stop to the point where I would just let it run because I'd get so sick of wiping them away! By the time I'd get to school I'd look like a complete mess ah, winter.

So wherever you are enjoy your summer and sunshine!! and think of us little people down here, with the peeling noses and the frozen toes...
