Phew... finally I finished making a Kinetic Novel. Remember that story my friend gave earlier at my birthday? A few days ago, I managed to finish it. Not a very good stuff actually, since the BG were awful (I made it using Paint), and the translations, was so bad... Sorry my friend, I guess I made your nice story awful.
The story was about...romance, mostly. Oh, well...just see it in:

Yes, I had my birthday at 2nd of July. Sorry, I wrote this late, cuz I don't have time...and mostly, I don't have enough money to go to Internet Cafe (I don't have Internet connection at my home).
Well...what I want to tell is... I had nothing at my birthday. I mean, nothing special goes on. Just my parents give me a congratulation. And my friends... surprisingly, there's only ONE know that I had my birthday at 2/7. I don't want to blame them... because until right now, we're still having holiday, and maybe they're forget because of that. Maybe....
Okay, enogh 'bout that. Another surprising thing at 2/7, my friend gave mw a short story to write in Ren'Py. So, finally I got a project to do! Oh, right, a friend of mine who gave me the story, also didn't know my birthday. Thanks then. (?)

A year has passed. And now we're saying farewell to each other.
All of my friends in the class X-9, it's time to separated and continued our life in different ways...
Argh, screw it! We're still in the same school, so we will meet again...say, next month? Precisely, after the semester holiday.
The X-9 Eksotic guys... What can I say about them? They might not be the smartest guys in the school (but I believe that all of us are smart, guys!), but they're the most cool guys I've ever met. It was so great to spend the whole year with you guys!
We pass through some events in school together. Say, the camping event at the early year, and then the Live-In at Wirosari, and the final class story, the trip to Jogja a few days ago. That was sooo awesome, guys! I can't believe that the trip was organized by a bunch of tenthgraders. The last event is the most precious between the others. We spent a day trip to Jogja, having fun together. It's just so sad that a few class members can't join... And I still can't forget how I lost one of my glass' lens...
The previous days in the class were great! I knew that we made a few (or all) teacher mad, but we were still able to show that we weren't nothing. The LIGASHA 2nd Champion proved that we weren't nothing. Well...but I must admit, that a few teachers still mad at us, until the end of the year.
Whatever. The point is that spending my one-year lifetime with you guys is cool! I can't believe that one year passed so fast. And thanks a lot to our lovely homeroom teacher, Mr. Tarisno. You're the greatest teacher, sir!
In the end, I hope that this is not the end of Eksotic era. I, really hope that we're never say goodbye, for at least in the next two years, while we're still in the Senior High School 3 Semarang...

The Academic Year of 2008/2009 is almost over. And as usual, every tenthgraders in Indonesian schools, just like me, must choose whether he/she will continue to one of three Departments. There are three departments to choose, they are Science Department, Social Studies Department, and Language Department. There are several differences between the three departments. Science students will learn more about Physics, Biology, and Chemistry which the Socials don't. On the contrary, the Social students will learn more about Sociology, eography, Economy and Accounting, which the Science students don't. The Language Department also different from the other two, while the students will learn more about languages, such as Indonesian (native), Javanese, Japanese, and French, also plus Antropology (This is what happens in my school, I don't know about the others).
Many people agree that Science students have better future. And so as my parents, as they FORCED me to enter the Science Department. And here, the problem starts. I don't like Chemistry and Physics, I also don't do well at those lessons. But my parents never care. They keep pushing me, no, FORCED me. I believe that every person have their own way to get a better future. And for me, the belief that Science students ALWAYS have better future, is a huge NONSENSE. Your future is totally depends on how you get your way there. But before I realized this, I chose Science in the inquiry, like all of my classmates. But after receiving several breakdown at the science tests, I realized that science is NOT my next destination. Besides, I also like the Economy and Accounting lesson. You know, the Accounting will be very helpful in my future. So, then, I changed my decision and go to the Social Department, of course, my parents didn't know that I changed my decision, I guess it'll be better if they know it at the last second.
Another inspiration also comes from one of my favourite songs, which is Nickelback's 'If Today Was Your Last Day' song. In one line of the song, I found these words:
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
And try to take the path less traveled by
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
That means a lot to me. I mean, taking a different path is very interesting. And I think I need to find my own 'way'. I don't want to be just copying my friends, because their ways are different than mine.
And then, my friends also react on my decision. They said that I was good enough to go to Science. But, then again, a 48 on Chemistry test and 60 on Physics test, clearly shows that I'm not the right person to get a seat on Science class. If I did that (go to Science), I will take the place from somebody who really wants to go to Science. One of my friends also said that I took an extreme way, and I took that as a compliment.
Surprisingly, some of my friends said that they would like to join me, so, welcome to the club, guys!
Finally, Saturday, June 20, 2009, maybe my parents will kill me if they know my decision. Yeah, at that day, the Student Final Result Report wil be given. And next year, I must prove that Social students are NOT always bad. So, if you still thinking that Science is ALWAYS gives better future, and Social students are BAD, I must warn you again, that what you're thinking is a TOTALLY NONSENSE! Science is NOT always gives better future, and Social students are NOT always bad. Your everything depends on yourself.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Leave no stone unturned
Leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take
Is the longest stride
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

A few weeks ago, I was writing about how to make a Visual Novel. But. now, finally I finished made one. I must say that it isn't something to proud of, since the story is in a mess... well...not just the story, the character arts (sprites) are mishandled, while actually they're nice sprites made by some great people (Deji, Tarra Nakatsu-Hua, Ren, and Mikan). The background arts are not better either. I took them using my friend's camera (Thanks to Aditya), and edited them using Gimp, but I must admit that they're not the best I can do.
I can't say much about the story. It's about a selfish man who (he thinks) always thinks of himself. On The Way to work, he screwed up his life just because he thinks of himself, in this case, he scolded two girls because they do something that (actually) wasn't too bad to him. He waste his time in scolding those girls, and ran out of time to work.
This project is a short, visual novel, which only has one choice, that not related to the story, so I must call it Kinetic Novel. I don't want to publish this proect, since I do this only to learn how to make a VN. Oh, right! I made it using Ren'Py 6.9.0
If you want to try it (please, don't laugh), try the link in 'My Stuff'. There, I keep my projects.
Next time, I'm going to make something better. I've made half of the story. Wish me luck, then.

Kemudian saya liat-liat bagian Opera in The News.

So, what are you waiting, Opera's boss?

Just go to Indonesia and prove that we can also develop your products!

Fuuh... Nulis lagi...udah lama kagak nulis...

Yah, sekarang akhirnya saya cuma nulis cerita di OpenOffice saya (padahal tadinya mau bikin VN-nya:( ) Oya, kalo udah selese, mungkin bakal saya upload disini.

Wish me luck!

Tahun Baru, sekali lagi, baru aja lewat.

Tahun Baru, baru saja lewat. Tapi rasanya masih teringat saja saat-saat itu. Memang sih, bukan pengalaman yang bagus. Beberapa jam sebelum jam 12, aku masih nonton film.

) Ya.. nonton Harry Potter lah.. sebenernya udah pernah nonton sih...tapi, gara-gara temen chat-ku, jadi nonton lagi deh...

Hemm...ternyata filmnya lama banget ya, sampe-sampe ga krasa udah hampir jam 12. Jadi, yah, matiin dulu TV-nya. Habis itu, langsung aja aku naek ke atas, niatnya sih mau liat kembang api (maklum, wong ndeso, ga pernah liat kembang api!

) Ternyata udah dari jam 11 kembang apinya nyala. Malah pas jam 12 itu ga terlalu banyak. Sebenernya aku bingung, jam 12-nya itu kapan sih? Kok kembang apinya nyala sendiri-sendiri...malah udah dari jam 11, jangan-jangan Semarang masuk WITA ya???

Huh... Ternyata kembang apinya biasa aja...ga sebagus kembang api di tempat laen

(Paginya aku nonton berita, ngga molor aja...

Aku turun lagi, nonton sisa film Harry Potter. Rumahku udah sepi, semuanya udah tidur. Jadi...langsung aja masuk kamar:zzz: . Abis ngucapin 'Happy New Year' sama temen-temenku, matiin lampu , terus tidur. Njengkeli banget!

Baru jam setengah dua-an udah agak sepi. Baru jam segitu bisa tidur nyenyak....
