Runes of Himself, Software
I'd planned to try Tor, but I found gladder.
gladder makes a great ladder over the Great Fire Wall (GFW). Yes, it truely works. I see wikiepdia again, though a bit slower because proxying is applied.
Thanks, gladder.
(Both Tor and gladder are extensions for Firefox browser.)

Runes of Matrix, Software
It's been more than one month since I installed ubuntu on my laptop. I've been stick to GNOME during this period, preventing from installing any package that requires Qt library.
At last I surrender to KDE. Not for K Desktop Enviorenment itself, but for cool softwares that have to run on KDE. First, there is no counterpart on GNOME for kate editor. Second, there are many helpful K-applets. The last blow is the versatible music player -- amaroK, which reassures my decision to install Qt-based softwares.
It feels good to keep pure GNOME. But it's also cool to be equiped with both GNOME softwares (gtk+ based) and KDE softwares (Qt based).

Runes of Matrix, Software
I don't remember why I surfed the front page of opera.com today. But I did. Just because I was wandering about, I click "download" button for other systems. And I found to my surprise there was a link for Solaris Intel!
Though my cable access provider gohoo.cn sucked, I managed to download the opera installer for Solaris x86.
Finally I installed it and rediscovered the Web.
(BTW, I forgot how to install a .pkg.gz file. For I usaully deal with packages that are packed as directories. Finally I extracted it with gzip -d and tried
pkgadd -d <file_name_with_.pkg>
.
It worked.

Runes of Matrix, Software
Days ago I began to equip my Athlon PC with SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 (SLED 10), which provides Banshee music player for GNOME by default.
I'd been using Banshee these days before I found tonight that it could display CD cover image. What a cool and friendly function.
