Yes this Sick Ignorance has to stop but don’t hope to much for any change!
I am 17 years in this country and can not see any future for Indonesia if they will not take urgent & drastic steps and actions against all this egoistic ignorance of individuals!
There is a short name for this; they call it “NATO” (No Action Talk Only)!
Indonesia is on Death road internationally if they do not address these problems NOW and not only take action only on cases of individual reporting problems!
All are very aware of the extortion and corruption Business happening every day in Indonesia! To many Indonesians abusing there authorities & Positions because of being egoistic and looking for easy money!
Also don’t forget that Indonesians KPK has till now more the 20000 corruption case reports! I mad a small calculation and to just handle this 20000 reports if the authorities would work efficient and could handle 200 cases per year it would take Indonesia 100 years to process only this 20000 reports!
Because of this ignorance I am living like in jail for the last 4 years in this country, extortion corruption will never be handled if they all just talk and not take drastic and urgent action!
I my self have problems for now 4 years & my problem also is directly related to corruption, manipulation & extortion! But the ignorance will never stop right up to the Government levels, all we get is promises but the realty is the Government is not consistent and does not know how to handle these problems professionally & efficiently!
You like to see what really is going on in Indonesia! Just look at these Storeys at www.balibs.org and you will see that many, many people are more then concerned and ignored about things happening every day all over Indonesia!
Good on you for reporting your problem to the authority's; every one should do this because they do not respect as at all!
Actually I Emailed this as a comment to Jakarta Post and it was published by Jakarta Post in the Forum section on 4 Oct 2007
