So here I was reading about the cloud computing hype and Microsoft making its Live Mesh and AMD building a supercomputer composed of 1000 GPUs and so on. This is becoming a growing trend and in fact this is very convenient to just lend the power you need or have central storage for all your data.

And then the thought bumped into my head... This is a perfect buisiness opportunity for ISPs, wouldn't it be nice to just get some storage and/or computing power from our ISP? Low latency connection and it's already the company you are a customer of. Convenient? I think so.

Combine that with wide internet coverage (3G networks make miracles these days), cheap, low power consumption netbooks with batteries with 8 hour operation and you get... I knew you would understand me.
