The first post to Opera blog

I would like to dedicate my first blog post to... ofcourse Opera!
Such a wonderful browser I use everyday! It's always on. I turn on my PC, I run Opera and it runs until I shutdown.
I used lots of other browsers on Linux and Windows, but I stayed with Opera.
Now... Why do I like it?
Well...
Have a nice New Year Opera! Keep up the good work!
Such a wonderful browser I use everyday! It's always on. I turn on my PC, I run Opera and it runs until I shutdown.

Now... Why do I like it?
Well...
- It's small and contains lots of features!
- It's faster than the other browsers, starts fast, works fast.
- Has a mail client integrated (and it's still small!)
- Supports skins, so I can change the looks when I get bored.
- Custom search. I love that one, I often need tabs (as I play guitar) from Ultimate-Guitar. Quick search saves me time

- Content blocking. You can easily block anoying ads and stuff, that you don't like on the page. Very nice feature!
- Widgets. Weather widget is the most useful one!
- IRC client. Well I need to tell the truth here. Normal chat clients are often better, but when you need to login to some channel very fast, it's very nice to have it in Opera. (opera is always on).
- Notes. Save a download link from YouSendIt, save some info, friends new e-mail, anything!
- BitTorrent downloader. No need for other app too.
- Opera saves memory. Not only Opera consumes less memory than other browsers, but you also save memory by having Mail, IRC clients in one app.
- Ctrl+H. Love it.
- Opera has a nice icon.
- Preview the page by hovering over the tab. Comes in handy when you have lots of tabs open in one window.

- It's free.
- Runs on Windows and Linux.
- Standard compilant. Displays all pages I need right. (Who needs Windows Live search anyway?..)
Have a nice New Year Opera! Keep up the good work!
