In a two and a half hour presentation to the House of Assembly,Prime Minister of St. Lucia Hon. Stephenson King presented a $1,337,807,300.00 estimates of expenditure for this fiscal year.
King made special reference to crime,energy and capital expenditure.
He promised to subsidise the 20lb LPG cooking gas cylinder by $15.00.
The Prime Minister gave a detailed breakdown of allocations for each of his Ministries.
The budget debate is scheduled for Monday - Wednesday next week.
