Financial Mess

My intuition tells me there's a lot more to this financial mess than meets the eye, and I've learned to put a lot of trust in my intuition. I'm sensing a lot of darkness around this whole thing for some reason, but it's an intentional sort of darkness. It's like there's some kind of negative will behind it that goes beyond all the surface fear being stirred up.
Another thing my intuition tells me is that choosing between McCain and Obama is merely an illusion of choice but not a real choice at all. I can't cast a conscious vote in this election because there's no consciousness to such a decision -- for me the conscious path is to recognize that this sort of vote isn't actually a real choice, just the illusion of one.
Voting for the next US President feels like casting a vote for the next CEO of McDonald's (either way I'd be voting pro-animal-torture, which is something I won't do). So I must cast a very different kind of vote.
I received many requests to share my thoughts on the financial meltdown and did so. You're free to disagree with that opinion of course. Just take note that I didn't write this post to inspire you -- you'd surely be disappointed if that was your expectation.
As for ridiculing a poster, no way. I may disagree with the points in someone's posts, sometimes quite vocally, but I wouldn't resort to personal attacks. People are not their ideas. If I see an idea I think is nonsense, I may shoot it down, but I respect that everyone has the right to be wrong, myself included.
IMO voting at the ballot box is a total waste of time given the current suite of candidates and ballot measures.
My vote is how I live my life, not what I write on a piece of paper that no one will see.
It's not such a terrible thing to have a poor-performing U.S. President now and then. It has the effect of raising people's awareness of what they want instead.
If I see a candidate with the potential to win who's very well aligned with truth, love, and power, I imagine I would register to vote and throw some support behind him/her. In the meantime, I throw support behind such people outside the political arena.
