I'm hyper happy, what an interesting plant!!!
I'm reading more about this plant, in fact it's a parasite,
it doesn't have chlorophylle, it needs a host to find food!!!
But it's like an Alien!!!

Happy I was able to find out.
I think it's a most interesting plant!

I did notice that it likes to grow near old rotting trees and near a stream or river. I likes some shade and needs moist but well drained soil so that's why it's found on a bank of a river, sloping downward a bit.
I think it's a most interesting plant! It is more common in central Europe. Never have seen any around here.
