About changing your conventional light-switch into a dimmer-switch.

Basically you have 2 kinds of dimmers. Those suited for lights with a transformer (these dimmers are more expensive), and those for lights without. The first CAN be used for lights which are not operated with a transformer.

Just attach the wires to the designated contacts and it should work.
