Wow! Brand New? I'm trying to think back. You had a Desktop, didn't you? I somehow don't recall a Laptop.

I sorta got a new computer myself last week, Taz.
Well, it's new to ME, but it is USED. It is actually pretty much about the same age as my Gateway computer, which is slightly over 8 years old. But, this new (USED) computer, which was given to me, is less used and in better shape ... at least certainly the Monitor.

It is an HP Pavilion. This one has Windows XP vs. my Gateway having Windows 98SE. This one unfortunately doesn't have a CD Burner, so I have to still keep my Gateway nearby. I'm actually on my Gateway right now. I'm waiting to put MS Office Suite Premium on my Pavilion.

The Monitor is a Dell. THAT is what I had desperately been needing for quite a while. I don't know if you remember, but my Gateway Monitor had been giving me Video Sync problems at power up almost daily for quite a while. So, it is very relaxing now to be able to just power up without wondering how long it's going to take the video to sync up.

Ooooooo, Hey! Glad you reminded me. Yes, I must, I shall have to go check out your Tags again now that I have a brighter Monitor.
