Tazzie's World

The Weirdest of Me

So My Blog Friends......

The Taz is very upset......

Ok...... Story in a nutshell........ I am very poor...... Live on my son's SSI and my SSI... Food Stamps and such........

Living with my sister is really been hard emotionally for the kids and me....... So I have a way to get out using government help (maybe)....... But paying the deposits on utilities and shit is going to be hard but I think I can get help with that as well......

I have no furniture or anything.......

Now the problem........ My sister is pissed cause I am moving........ Maybe it's concern, maybe it's not.... I don't know..... But ever since I told her I was moving she has been pissed......

This is making my moving questionable...... Am I moving for the right reasons? Do I have the money for deposits? What about my kids? Will they be in a stable place? These are questions she asked of me.

I am so confussed.......

I don't know your sister, Taz. So, I don't know whether your sister's reaction was genuine concern or what? And I don't know how dependable and longterm that government help will be. Plus, the location and condition of the place to where you'll be moving.

As to whether you're moving for the right reasons? Well, it's NOT like you've been happy there at your sister's place. And she hasn't exactly made it easy for you or been super great with you. From the bits and pieces I've read, it wasn't exactly like your sister declared a "Mi casa es su casa" and meant it. So, moving out, would be justified, I'd say. Whether you can swing it without getting into some really tight spots in the future, only you can have a better idea about that. I hope you can swing it, cuz you'd probably be happier because you'd feel it was more a place of your own.

Damned if you do, more damned if you don't. I've felt uncomfortable just reading about how you've felt living there. If you can break out on your own, it might be good to try it.

Well........ I'm going to be damned and stay where I'm at..... I have a plan though...... includes things like a storage building to throw things like beds and couches in....

Plan is to be moved out by Christmas.....

Have to play nice till then........

This sounds good, too. Give you something to work towards. That might make the home situation more tolerable.

Everybody just needs to give you one piece of *usable* furniture.

I had a friend give me a sofa many years ago when I had no furniture. She didn't mention that 2 large dirty dogs had slept on it for a long time. She used me as a dumping service. :frown: It smelled so bad after a few hours that I had to drag it to the curb that night as the next day was trash day. Before the sun came up, the neighbors across the street had it up on their porch. They were the ones that had a supersized Confederate flag as an awning. It was a rough neighborhood.

Icky Dave........ But I've been given that same couch before

Yeah might make my sister more tolerable of me moving if I have more plans laid out.....

Look into a program(I'm sure you qualify for) that pays you,tru SSI , ect.,$500 or so a month to hire a "care provider" .It's to hire someone to help people with disabilities or watch their kids,do chores-whatevah.A close friend has done this from time to time over the years. The trick is to find some one w/o felonies or warrants, that you can trust to sign their name. You give them a small, one time piece of $ so you can keep the monthly care provider checks from there on.It's not much, but,it could help pay a bill or two housing vouchers won't. Good luck.....~FOOLISHWORLD~
