About me

Hi! I am a 41 year old woman who has been married twice and divorced twice. (bummer ey? But BOTH were my chice and were contested by my husbands)I am very anxious to meet new people as I cleaned house and am starting over with all new friends after having the same ol' losers for the last 15 years. I must admit starting over has it's definite advantages as I have been meeting some pretty terrific people since I made myself open to meeting and making new friends.

PLEASE IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE...PLEASE NOTE I ONLY WANT TO BE CONTACTED BY MEN IN THE MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN AREA OR WOMAN JUST WANTING TO BE FRIENDS (THEY CAN BE FROM ANYWHERE!)

It's not what you have, or how much you have, but WHO you have to share it with. I am looking for that special someone to share my life with. Please don't be intimidated by anything I might say, I am particular, but I wouldn't say I'm picky. I always try to see the best in people, not their flaws. I am open minded and and although I am not despirate to meet anyone, I do enjoy meeting new people although I am perfectly content to be by myself. (I find I keep myself pretty good company! LOL)

THIS IS ALL IN CAPS AS IT SEEMS AS THOUGH I MUST SLOW DOWN SOME OF THE EMAILS BY TELLING YOU ALL WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. I AM LOOKING TO MEET LOCAL MEN. (within 75 miles of Milwaukee, Wisconsin) SOMEONE I CAN EMAIL , THEN MEET AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I HAVE MET A FEW WORTHY OUT OF TOWNER'S, BUT I REALLY WANT TO MEET THE MILWAUKEE LOCAL TALENT, SO TO SPEAK. I AM REALLY NOT INTO THIS LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP STUFF! I ALSO ONLY DATE MEN MY AGE (40+) OR OLDER, SO ALL YOU YOUNG HANDSOME MEN WHO HAVE BEEN EMAILING ME, SORRY GUYS, I LOVE MY MEN OLDER, AND I AM IN NO NEED OF (AS MANY OF YOU PUT IT) A "BOY TOY". But thanks you guys in your 20's and early 30's for emailing me...you did great things for my ego! LOL)

The greatest thing that ever happened to me though was my two children I conceived in my first marriage. (they are in their ealy to mid 20's now) I have a incredible son and daughter in law and a beautiful daughter and son in law who have also blessed me with the cutest, sweetest, smartest and most loving grandson a grandma could ever ask for. So basically I have it made there! We are a very closely knit bunch. I also have 5 cats. So as the saying goes..."we are all a package deal", my children and grandson (who do NOT live with me) and my cats which I will never part with until it's their time to go. I have had most of them close to 12-14 years and yes, I will pass on a relationship because of my cats. I am not the wierd cat lady or anything, I just made a "life commitment" to these cats when they were kittens and plan on honoring that commitment.

I am educated although it took me some time and growing up to accomplish it. I took computer classes, secretarial word processing, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, psychology and most recently I graduated with a degree in health care. I also have a few of my nursing courses under my belt and with the help of my higher power and some self control I will someday obtain my nursing degree and utilize it to care for in home hospice care. (I have already done so for years and am now taking a break) I believe I was put on this earth to help people and the time people need the most help is when it becomes their time to cross over into their after life. Everyone has a different vision of what that will be like and it's my job to see to it that that place is being envisioned at the end. I'm very good at what I do as it was a gift I have been given. I cherish the gift.

My work

Well, now this is a complicated subject. Right now I am working at Blockbuster and working on getting my own store again (I had one at Hollywood Video for years) and seeing where that all goes. It is a fun job and I feel like I want to have a little more fun while I still can. I have some health "issues" that make it difficult for me to be on my feet for that many hours as well as that many hours without any breaks...breaks...what the hell is a break? LOL
BUT...the flip side to that is I also love caring for my hospice patients. I am not quite a nurse, but I am very knowledgeable and have been doing it for years. Most of the time I do it as volunteer work, but I have decided to take some time off as I need some time to heal after finding my 31 year old room mate dead from a drug over dose a few months ago. It was tragic and very very painful. He was like a little brother to me and I also lost my unlce to a terminal disease earlier this year and feel I just need time to heal emotionally before embarking on other families and their pain surrounding the care of their dying loved ones. I will say this though, it is a God given talent that I have and I cherish it. So although I am taking a break, if there is someone in need, I will always do my best to fill that need.
