Link, opera, unite, Unite problems
...
I really am sold on Opera for life. Let's get that out right away, I mean mouse gestures alone I can't even get through the day of trying to close my save folder on my desktop without preforming [Right+Down+Left] twice before realizing "wait >.< that won't work here.
Great Innovative features. But; and this makes me sad, there is becoming a lack of polish of current features before moving on to new ones.
Opera-Link is a super cool feature, but it is sitting here overly idiot proof, so much so that even the idiots don't want to use it. It runs on Black Magic and you can't tell which way data is going to go from multiple stations to server and back, unless everything is running all the time.
Unite an even more-so Super cool feature, but every version update since beta has totally changed the look and feel of the Home page. Personally I really liked the look and feel of the first Unite Beta Main page. The 10.01 one is fine too, especially with the App developers who are following the template. Sexy. But back to changing things... From Service to Application and from 10.0 to 10.5 no legacy support, you have to scrap and reinstall all of your Widgets and Unite Apps, and now they are scattered other folders... (But that is another topic.)
Back on track. From time to time, three separate occasions so far my Main Unite page will become unavailable, if you know the direct links to the specific pages they all work fine. But you can't get to the index, I am not sure if there is a particular sequence that causes this. But my only found solution is not simply to Reinstall Opera, or Even Uninstall /Reinstall. The only thing that works for me is to Uninstall -> Install a _Different_ version -> Remove that -> THEN put back the correct version of Opera.
Wow. Quite the rant. Well I feel a bit better.

no direct connection, Problem, Error, unite
...
So, Both Work and Home have Unite services(excuse me Applications) running. I have just recently upgraded from Beta to 10.10.1893 and am enjoying the new interface.
However! As far as my home computer is concerned I can not open the Default Main page. Remotely _OR_ Locally, and that goes for Admin or Guest, from Opera or IE. I am very confused about this. If I know the Direct link to the individual services, they still work. I can upload or download files or anything perfectly. I just can't see the list of what is running on that computer.
Anyone who has any suggestions please let me know.

I lost my USB Stick earlier this week. As far as I know it fell out of my pocket while I was at the gas station, while I still hope I'm wrong, and it is in my house somewhere, I have been diligently changing passwords on all my accounts.
The really annoying part is that, aside from several _hundred_ hours of work on the stick that isn't on my HDD (largely due to being non-work related content
is that I had portable copies of Opera-USB and Trillian for when I am over at friends houses... >.<
So, essentially Every single one of my passwords needs to be changed. -sigh-
But my own fault really, and this will teach me for not having used protection >

Well, I am positively vibrating in excitement, that I finally got Unite to work.
Even my home system which is behind 3 Routers is viewable from the office.
Now its time to put the creative hat on and Build some Services.
I have a few Ideas, so hang on.

unite, opera, toaster, random
Day 1.... I seriously doubt I'll ever actually get into this whole blogging thing, but I thought i'd give it a try.
I'm sitting here at work, and that should tell you right off how my day is going, or not as the case may be.
I have to say that I am forever further impressed by Opera. The ingenuity and curve leading features that keep coming are wonderful. Unite makes me cry becasue I can't make it work. But I'm patient, its Beta. I'll wait until it makes it into a stable release before I start griping that I can't make it go. Likewize trying to write an email from Yahoo is fine as long as you don't try to actually Click on the Textbox, or opening a new Tab how it trys to Run the Marklet code I have as one of my speed dial slots.
