Hi whosoever reads this!

I'm not Scottish, not one bit.

I moved up here (Dumfries and Galloway) about 8 Months ago after a long spell (6 years) in the South of England.

I thought I'd get this blog going to track my exploration and hopefully my integration into this little bit of Britain.

At the moment I'm looking for a new job, a girlfriend, a driving licence, a holiday, more money (should hopefully come hand in hand with the job thing), a six pack (yeah right) and eventually inner peace (ha!). So it could be an interesting journey (or hellishly dull).

I'm also keen to try out Scottish cuisine. I've already tried Haggis (obviously) and deep fried pizza (nouvelle Scots cuisine) which was an artery clogging experience; possbily the greasiest/oiliest thing I've ever eaten.

I can't think of much else right now so I'm gonna head off and do some ironing (fun!).
