JavaWoman considers…

Now that I'm more or less settled in here, I'm looking to promoting this little blog. One obvious first stop is Technorati, and I was curious whether I would be able to register this blog with them, given that one does not have access to a web root (to create a “signature” file) and no JavaScript can be embedded anywhere.

I'm half-way through the process now — I needn't have worried. All that they require to “claim” your blog, is to give them the URL (of course) and then create a post on it with a special link to your Technorati Profile. <= That's the link!

Once the post is live, I need tell them about it, so I'll do that now. You can always delete the post later, they say, but I don't intend to do that: rather, I'd like to record how I'm setting up this blog and tweaking it, and this is obviously part of that process.
