Hi again. How's everyone doing here in OperaLand?
Tuesday, February 3, 2009 1:29:51 PM
I lost my password. Had it saved in the beginning and could not retrieve it. My main blog, that is. And after many, many attempts, I cannot get any help from Opera to get my blog back. Sure, I can start another one, but why should I have to?
I have a collection of "Ticket Numbers" from support, but everytime I ask to reset, or give me a temp password for 'A New Day, A New Way"...(Jilleebean)...they, and over and over again, send me a new password for this blog, which I don't need another password for. VERY FRUSTRATING.
It looks like I'll have to delete my original blog, but again....why do I have to???
Enough of that. How is everyone? Anything new and exciting? Any new romances? Broken romances? Would like all the details please, and don't leave anything out. I've been gone too long. hehehe
Love you all and did miss coming here. A lot going on here. Won't get into it now, but good to be back!
Love you guys....Jilleebean

I've missed you & was wondering what had happened to you! So good to have you back!
JillJillee # Tuesday, February 3, 2009 2:17:30 PM
Culture Surfer still going strong, I hope!!! No doubt it is. Will get over your way some time today. I'm off to work in a little bit, but did want to check in, say hi and re-invite my friends over here.
Love ya,
Jillee

And more importantly, Miss Delia is still with us! (see the totally adorable pic of her in front of the fire on my blog)

Edgar is going on 27 and had a hard way to go recently, but he's back. Still on the fluids 3 times a week and his heart meds. 27, it's just amazing. Although, I've never lost a dog under 22....but with all his health problems, well, he's just amazing.
And, don't tell him how old he is because he wouldn't believe you. Still runs 3 acres with the other dogs and keeps UP with them.
Don't we just love our furry/feathery friends? They really do bring us so much joy.
Delia's picture is here on my love table with all of the other pets I just adore.
Thanks for letting me know how good she's doing!!

Glad to see you back. Keep in touch1

I can't believe your baby is 27! Unreal! I know that you understand when I say I've put so much into Delia. Bit it's worth it. It's difficult because we can't even go on day trips, but it's so worth having her. She doesn't know how old she is, either. Her feeding formula is fr "juveniles" so I call her a juvenile delinquent when she's a bad child.

My pet password gripe was with TypeKey. Seems I didn't leave a space between my first and last name when I registered and I forgot ! They couldn't help either. Passwords are not accessible to tech support online as a matter of course. Reset is the standard course of remedial action. I'm still puzzled why it didn't work for you.
While you are away my biggest change was to hear from my step daughter. I had been told by social services when she was in my care that we were a successful case : it just seemed a sad commentary that we only didn't fight. Anyway, she had been in touch with my daughter on FaceBook and had gone through a late decision to have a child. So I zipped down with my daughter for a brief call - hours only!
It went well and 'fences were mended' - and what a cute little girl. Now they want me on FaceBook so we can trade pics, etc. I shouldn't have too many concerns about privacy, I suppose as I've deliberately left myself 'wide open' for purposes of sharing - not having a business at risk.

First, I lost my email. I couldn't retrieve any of my mail and I was waiting for something to come. Just like waiting for the mailman.
Everytime I logged on, I would get an error message that either my email (username) was invalid or my password. And, I never save passwords for email.
This went on forever it seemed. Contacting Opera support. Them emailing me with yet another 'Ticket' Number that it was being looked into.
Then going back and forth talking with tech support and saying/explaining the same thing over and over and over and it just was NOT penetrating.
(Jillee is rambling here...BIG TIME)
Ok, then I cannot get onto my blog. I can go on it now and leave a message, sure, but I have no admin rights. I cannot change/add because I have no access to my blog's account.
When I first signed up on Opera to blog, I did use wand to save my blog's password. Well, wand stopped doing it's magic so I could no longer sign into my blog because I had forgotton my password from a year ago.
When I asked for a temp password, one was emailed to me and when I tried to use it, an error stated it was invalid. And this was done many times.
So, to make a real long and boring story a bit shorter, while I was still blogging on my main blog, I had started this one for my poetry. This is where it really get's crazy.
So, one night I tried to sign into this blog, using the password I had NOT saved, for obvious reasons, and it brought me over to my main blog, where I was just a guest. I then asked why my password was not being accepted after it HAD been after 100 times using it, and I was told...(are ya ready????)
"Are you sure you are typing it in right?"
That's when I just threw my hands up and said Jill, you're not going to win. In fact, you're not even allowed to play anymore!
No exaggeration, I have at least 30 emails from tech support and they were all just "an organized way of accomplishing nothing."
Ok, now I'm even tired of listening to myself. Let's see how long I can keep this blog going.
I have no problems with ANY other browser and I work A LOT on my puter. And, let's even forget about the browser, it's when I am blogging (regardless of how I get here) and problems with passwords, usernames being valid one night, invalid the next! And, lack of support.
I've always known of the bugs and also know I am in the minority when it comes to experiencing the amount and different problems that I have, but they still need to communicate better to resolve these issues.
I guess I can always keep in touch as a guest. But, again...why should I have to?
If you read this far...Thanks....it's a bit more detailed but like I said....too long a story.
From time to time, when time allowed, I would stop in to read some posts but disgusted that I could not reply by any means but PM/guest. That's no fun.
You know Lois, I didn't realize how much time had passed until I saw the date on my last post. I guess it goes by whether you're having fun or not!!! LOL
I did miss everyone. You get attached, you know?
Good to be back! Love ya!

I'm glad to hear about the reunion, of sorts, with your step-daughter. Awesome. Really happy for you, both! This is a 'good' thing!!!
And I didn't know there was a such thing as 'privacy' concerning the Internet. Joking, of course!!
I had someone out here working on my system and gee, the games people play. I think some people have too much time on their hands, with tracking others IP addresses, down to the 'private' access line their blogging from. It amazed me. But then, people never cease to.
How IS business/work going? Are you staying busy?
Thanks for popping over John. My schedule hasn't changed much in the way I can come on here, the time, that is. Very late. There are a couple mornings I now have more free time and look forward to catching up a bit then!
Peace my friend!!
JillJillee # Wednesday, February 4, 2009 6:45:12 AM
I've been tired too, my friend, almost going blind in front of this screen....but work had to be done. I'm taking a little break from all of it. I had to make a lot of changes, rearranging life and in so many ways. It all got to be too much.
But, I did willingly dive into the deep end and with both eyes open. Just didn't plan on treading water so long!!!
I agree that "a change is gonna come" and should and I hope for the best for the future of our country. You 'do' have a way with words!
Stay sweet!

How nice to think about where I was. I've never really posted steady. Blogging was new to me when I came here and mostly I enjoyed reading. I've never been afforded the time to devote to building a blog as some on Opera, as their blogs are awesome reads!!! And, especially when I start a new project, which I did in the early fall. I jump into it and give it all I have to make sure it get's off the ground, and it did and I'm glad I devoted the time needed to do so. I do like coming on at least once a week or so...I've always enjoyed that.
Regarding my blog, I'm just fet up with the whole thing. Yes, I can view it, but the same as you can. Nothing else. I have no rights to it. Opera will not give me another password or should I say, when I have received one, it was not recognized and the issue was never resolved. It was forgotton after that. They stated there was nothing they could do, that it must be something on my end.
Whatever!
I guess after all of this talk, my time here will be limited, due to all of the loyal Opera Bloggers!! hehehe...or maybe not, we'll see.
Hey, thanks for stopping over! Have a great week, too!

I've had a lot going on. Just life. Another crossroad. Lost my direction.
It's easy enough to copy and transfer your work, not all of it, of course. Pics are a different story. The problem is not being recognized and consistantly ignoring calls for help. If anyone can tell me why I cannot be given a password, to reset, and then after receiving it, the password given by Opera....not being recognized...I'd sure like to hear that answer.
Anyway, I look forward to your posts, also. I usually spend quite awhile on your blog reading. You've always been one of my favorites.
Take care and you'll be seeing me real soon. Great Big Hugs!!!!

I was running up and down the provincial highway with 'skateboards' : flat deck Super 'B' train with a 32' and 28' deck running over 45 Tons of freight - mostly construction materials.GVW is 63.5T ( metric ) or 70 old Tons.
This week my bud gave it up. Yesterday he hired a driver and sent him off. So I'm a bit at loose ends, though the bale business is still possible. Not much happens this season usually, however.
I had been 'swamper' or driver's assistant as he's rather gimped. I drove it myself for a week with a licensed co-driver. No thanks. Waaay too interesting as a ride : though I did seem able to back the stupid contraption better than he could for a while.
JillJillee # Wednesday, February 4, 2009 8:22:23 AM
Busy you have been and a load to haul, wew. So, you've been double-timing it, although you will get busier next season, I'm sure.
Never a dull moment, eh? Thanks for bringing me up to speed!
Even when everything seems to go south, you still have that beautiful and breath-taking country to share your days with!

When I get my sound back on this thing, I'll listen to that video. I 'watched' it with fond memories of when dancing in the snow with backyard friends was a time I need to remember....wasn't really that long ago.
And, thanks for the pic! You made my day!
Peace Friend!

Yeah, those winds of change, ever blowin', eh?
How's that special guy of yours? Our children are so precious and the biggest part of our lives. I always loved to hear how you describe how awesome he is. He's a lucky boy!
Thanks for stopping by, too, really appreciate it.
Hugs:)
