National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Sunday, 12. October 2008, 06:00:41

DID YOU KNOW...
1 in 8 women
will develop breast cancer.
1 in 33 women
will die from breast cancer.
Get involved in any way you can.
Organize a "Walk for Life"
in your community.
Host a lunch with friends and neighbors
for a donation, to fight Breast Cancer.
Speak at a local high school/college
to raise awareness.
Write to your state representative
to demand more funds be available
for testing as a preventative measure.
Make your involvement an event that
will not end when October does, so
that one day, if not for us then for
our children and grandchildren, there
will be a cure for this horrible disease.
Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying,
I will try again tomorrow.

And although this post is a few months old and all I can do is respond to comments on here, I wanted to acknowledge your visit.
