My Granddaughters

The Story of Granddaughters: Patience & Ellie and Great-nieces: Destiny, Katelyn, & Sarah in my life

Yet another update!

It's been a hot summer and I LOVE it! I dread the cooler weather when it gets below 90.

I finually solved my pool problems by hauling the old one to the dump and buying a new, smaller one. I had Stacy's 3 girls in it 2 Saturdays ago and Ellie got in it the next day. It is only 30" deep so the little ones can stand up in it safely.

Got to see Ellie last night and she is growing and learning so fast. She even talked to Patience on the cellphone!

Ellie is Crawling Now!

We went to see Ellie yesterday and she is crawling! I got photos and videos with Caron's digital camera!

Update on Ellie

, , ,

We went and visited Ellie last night (first time in 10 days!) and as always enjoyed seeing her.

She is almost sitting up by herself; I give her another month and she'll be doing so with no problem. I can't wait until she is big enough to take to the park playground!

Rambling Update

, , , ...

Well, Patience has been gone for 5 days and I miss her already. I enjoyed keeping her for two days and wish they could get moved back to Tennessee so I could see her more often.

I did get to spend some time with Ellie Wednesday night; Caron cooked a turkey meal and we carried it to their house for a late supper.

We are planning on going to the 'pottery place' in Memphis either tomorrow or Sunday with Andy, Holly, & Ellie so I am looking forward to spending the day with Ellie while the women shop.

Patience Visits Again

Kissing Cousins!

Patience was here from Thursday Night until Sunday morning as her parents look for local jobs so they can move back to this area.

I kept her Thursday & Friday nights and had a blast with her and was sad to see them go back. She is learning to speak pretty well and I can understand most of what she says.

She went nuts over her cousin Ellie and Ellie seemed to like her.

Desktop Working

I finually got my desktop working with Windows XP again!!

I now have 6 hard drives between the two computers; ain't life wonderful.

Ellie is growing like a weed and trying to set up.

I am still hoping that Jennifer & Greg will move back to Tennessee so I will have my first granddaughter Patience here.

New Laptop

I am enjoying my new laptop; a HP with 2 GB ram, a 64-bit dual-core processor, and Vista. It is very nice.

My desktop Windows XP died and I can only get it to work with a free OS.

Better Late Then Never

, , , ...

It looks as if I'm not doing much in the way of keeping this up-to-date!

I now have 2 granddaughters, my 2nd (Ellie) was born on August 10, 2006. My daughter moved to Ilinois so I don't get to see Patience like I wish I could.

First Post

, ,

This is my first data entry.

Patience is with her parents visiting her dad's family up north so I haven't seen her in a couple of weekends. I hope to see her on the 4th.
