Wolfquest

Here it is: Wolfquest. It is not complete, of course, but such will almost certainly be true at the end of the year.
The version I bring you now is fully functional (although I think I may have kept one of my notes to self in there by mistake. Oops), but will abruptly end at a certain point in the story.
Setup information
Simply download this file:
WQ.zip
then open the HTML page labeled "bat4.htm". You need to have frames and javascript enabled, but cookies are not required.
It is also not required that you read the rules sections before running the game, becuase the game is somewhat easy to understand. However, reading the Item/Spells section is important, becuase there is no in-game explanation of them.
Basic Story
You play as traveling warrior who came to the town of Banin to investigate the clock tower. However, you do not find what you expect. With the aid of Lance, an alchemist and vigilante, and Draco, A half-veron, you fight to eliminate the evils that threaten the town of Banin.
Non-Combat Rules
This is a mainly text-based RPG. Your first task is to name your character (male or female, it does not matter). The game, you will notice, is divided into four frames:
The top-left frame, which contains the name of the game and chapter holds the source code that essentially runs the game and stores variables such as your name and level. You, as the player, do not use it for anything.
The top-right frame has no purpose outside of combat.
The bottom-left frame is the status/inventory pane. You may switch back and forth between the two with a handy little button within the frame.
The bottom-right frame is where the story is displayed. And without story, the game would be nothing more than battle after battle, and that would be no fun.
Combat rules
The battle system is somewhat more complicated. Items can be used in the same way outside combat as they can be inside combat, although doing so during combat will give the enemy a chance to get a hit on you. The left frames will function as they do outside of combat, but the right frames do not. The top right frame will show the possible moves that can be done, accompanied by a fight button, which allows you to use those moves.
However, if you are unconscious, and thus unable to direct the actions of you party, you will have no control over the other characters' actions.
If you do not select a party member's move, they will automatically attack.
The bottom right pane shows what happens in the battle, as well as the enemy's HP.
Item/Spells
There is only one item created thus far: the Total Potion, which heals 5MP and 10HP to all party members.
There are six spells, three per level (you can only get as high as level two right now). The first three spells are:
- Slicer: Deals 2 damage per level of user
- Soul Spell: Deals damage to the enemy and heals all party members (except himself) to an amount equal to Draco's HP, then knocks him unconscious.
- Silver Sabre: Deals 3 damage.
I will let you figure out the other three spells on your own.
