Amazing things I learned in my lunch break

It's a regular Friday and yet I just learned some things that amaze me.
1) IBMs SyNAPSE project. IBM apparently developed some computer chips that don't use the same old architecture that computers used for the last 5 decades - no, instead they use a synaptic approach similar to a brain. These chips aren't programmed to do something, they learn for themselves
. The possibilities are huge and the outlook for this technology is very interesting as well. Check it out:

2) Battlefield 3 looks amazing. Seriously, watch this:
