[new version]You have the choice - Do you use it?

, ,

You have all the day, all the time (so 24/7) the choice...nearly. Many people use this to tell the world which they are thinking about whatever they are mad or happy about. Others don't use it.

Maybe you know this from your PC: When starting it, you must look for a browser, an office, a place, where the PC should stand, an anti-virus program and so on. Many people do this or let someone do this.
In Europe, you have more steps with the browser-choice window and some E-versions even have no media player, so you must look for it again and often you have to choose. And you have to choose an anti-virus software, because Microsoft has an own program, the Microsoft Security Essentials (a funny name: It's essential (important), but not pre-installed...the same way like the "Windows Live Essentials"...), but they don't have it pre-installed. Maybe they are frightened (I hope I have written the word correct) of the EU (browser-choice windows and Windows E versions) or they don't want it, maybe this will come, but in general they don't think about the people who don't know a lot of PC's and so on.
There are many people without programs against viruses. Some don't need it (Linux), some think they don't need it (Mac and Windows) and some don't know that these programs exist (often Windows). Out of these three groups, I like the last one most, because they don't want other people to change the OS (I hate these guys, often they have a Mac) or think they have the best OS (Linux and Mac users). These two groups don't have anti-virus programs often, because they think they are safety, because they have...(I don't want to go on, because one day, you will maybe read the rest and I don't really want any anger, because of my sentences against Linux-, Mac-and Google-users).
It gets funny, when someone who uses Windows and knows that there are many viruses (and other malwares) on the Internet and they know that there are programs against it, but this person don't uses any program, though he/she has Windows. Ok, within some programs I could understand this, because many wants lots of resources and so on, but some people say (this is not original, but I have read it!): "I haven't got any anti-virus program for some months and I never had any viruses etc." So, they have no program, but they also know that there is no malware. Congratulations, if you can see that, but these people are...a kind of crazy?
I know, anti-virus programs are not really helpful, if the user of the PC is not going to open his eyes soon (you maybe know things like "brain.exe" (I hate guys, using this to show other people: "Hey, I am the best, because I use my brain." But the things they are writing are completely senseless)), but these programs give you some security, so a kind of addition to your brain (though there comes more malware per minute than security). Sometimes, I am surfing like a berserk: Clicking on everything, I could click on and so on, but often I am thinking: "Do I have to visit it?" So, for me an anti-virus program is sensefull, but I hope, I have no malware on my PC.
Back to the choices: There are many choices, where you have a big influence (like anti-virus programs), there are choices with a small influence by yourself (like elections) and there are choices, where you have nothing to "say" (you can say something, but it is unimportant...e.g. at exams: You get a mark, but you have no direct influence (often, not everytime)). If you have the choice: Use it, because if you are unhappy, you should not say too much, because you did not choose, you understand?

BTW: The browser-choice will only come up, if you use the IE. If you are using another browser, it will never come.
