UNlimited TAIWAN Short Film (Not Music Video)directed by Chen, Wen-tang

United Nations have limited Taiwan based on economic concerns, political power struggles and fears but not facts. I am very impressed by Chthonic's efforts and hearts of trying to raise recognitions of Taiwan's independence among young heavy metal fans all over the world. Some of you might view this song - UNlimited Taiwan as a propaganda tool. For powerful countries with big mainlands, artists don't have to do anything like this; for a small and struggling country like Taiwan, we certainly need all creative people spray out the message through music, films, art, writings...etc. Chthonic's touring in US, Japan and Europe would not change the way this world treats Taiwan, but it does at least express some people's voice in Taiwan. There are also some people living in the island believe joining China as a big "Mainland" will benefit Taiwan more than being a small island nation.

Personally, I don't embrace nationalism because patriotism empowers ambitious politicians to step on people's lives and create more wars among nations. Although, Taiwan's situation is very unique. Is there anyone who can explain to me why an island, which has its separated government with completely different constitution/legal system since 1949 and ran democratic presidential elections three times since 1996, is not a country but a province of China. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Oh, I forgot this world is not making any sense most of the time.

Taiwan has applied a seat with UN again this year. United Nations would still ignore all facts and hug China as usual. When will justice eventually shin on Taiwan? Before that happens, I am gonna applaud Chthonic for their intelligence. I now listen to Chthonic even though I don't listen to heavy metal at all.
