The Insert Key: Scourge of My Very Being

, , ,

Why do you even exist? You are a useless little piece of shit taking up valuable real estate on my keyboard. Take the hint and go the way of the turbo button on my old PC, you useless sack of shit. I swear to god, one of these days I'm going to take a screwdriver to your cheap plastic ass.

The Brilliant Green, more like The AWESOME Green, amirite?Opera's userbase should take a good long look in the mirror.

hahaha smile

How about the Scroll Lock and Break buttons?

Ahhh, they have their uses, albeit limited uses.

but what if you type something wrong, and you don't want to go through the effort to backspace and THEN type what you really wanted to? It's way easier to take your mouse, point to the area of text you wish to edit, left click, press the insert button, and THEN type what you really wanted to. Simple!

Though for windows, maybe a "ctrl alt del" key all in one would be more efficient... wink

It would be just as simple to drag over the unwanted text with your mouse and just start typing. All in all, it's just a matter of preference for me, I personally enjoy repeatedly slamming down on the backspace button.

lol, i was kidding - I tried to make that clear in the long list of steps to do the same exact thing as clicking backspace.. whoops! sometimes tones in the voice get lost in text. That's why I don't read books.
