MIHAS was pioneered in 2004 and congregates the largest annual gathering of halal industry players and entrepreneurs in the effort to ease the sourcing and selling of global quality halal consumables, products and services. It embraces the halal concept in all its dimensions from pharmaceuticals and herbal products, cosmetics and health care to Islamic investment, banking and takaful. As an international trade fair focused on halal, MIHAS 2008 saw the active participation of 507 exhibitors from 25 countries and attracted a total of 41,862 visitors from 69 countries.
