About me

Hello all! I'm a 22 year-old American with a strong sense of adventure and lust for anything that isn't American. I'm looking to move out of the country and into a country much more liberal and understanding of different cultures that my current location; which is Madison, WI. Madison is quite liberal but the Midwest and Wisconsin in general is pretty intollerant of other cultures, new and different things. For example, the city council in Green Bay banned all other religious displays other than a nativity scene on the city council building. I thought we had this piece of paper that strictly banned the government from doing just that... What a crap hole. I'm also fed up with the current political system, the people who should be winning elections because of their strong stances on things that the public are calling out for aren't getting elected simply because they don't have enough money. Money shouldn't run the govenrment, the government should control money... Simple as that. The United States of America is all upside down and fractured. The North barely can stand the thought of the yokel country-living South and the Southerns believe the Yankees are all living a life of sin and will soon fall into the pits of hell to pay for all their sins. This is why I cannot live in the States any longer. I know other places have problems much worse than we do, but unfortunately the problems in the US pervade the world.

My work

I currently work for Transportation Services at the University of Wisconsin, but what I really wish to work on is Internation Politics. I want to work at making especially wealthy countries around the world take responsibilty both for their actions (wars, pollution, sweatshops, consumerism) and helping the less developped world. Through donations, investment in the people and careful planning and observation from within and outside the regions.
