"And the Sky Full of Stars" (season 1, ep. 8)

Skipped episode: "The War Prayer". Ivanova has an ex, there is racism (or speciesism, I guess?) in the Universe. That's about it.
That means this is our very first encounter with Dr. Franklin. But a good and memorable first appearance it is. Also, we finally begin to see how traumatic the Minbari War actually was, and the Battle of the Line especially. Without further ado, the highlights from Sinclair's cyber-experience:
• “Were you followed?” “No.” Guess someone’s got a high Perception score to be that confident.
• SECUR AREA. STATN OPERATNS. 23rd Century English. Not all that different.
• I like how Delenn wears her pyjamas to Medlab, and then a bathrobe on the outside. Minbari hospitals must be very comfortable.
• How did they transport Sinclair without being seen?
• Note the newspaper headlines Garibaldi reads (when Delenn enters his office). The one about Psi Corps in particular.
• My theory on who sent the Knights (or agents) would be McCarthyism. The B5 equivalent of it, anyway. Also explains why the surviving agent was recalled to Earth. Not sure if that agency has anything at all to do with Psi Corps, though. I mean, they would have sent telepaths instead, surely?
• The triluminary reacted to Sinclair because he took it back in time and used it, so it was attuned to his DNA, I guess. Which makes me wonder where the triluminary came from in the first place. The Minbari found them aboard Babylon 4, as I remember it. So where was it made, and by whom?
• “Maybe you’re still inside. Maybe we’re both still inside.” The simulation? Hardly. Sinclair’s mind? Maybe. Would be interesting if part of the agent is now trapped in there. If he’s just observing and unable to influence anything Sinclair thinks or does, at least he’s in for an interesting ride.
• What’s the deal with the Grey Council triangle marks on the foreheads? As I recall, they were not present in “In the Beginning”, nor in “Babylon Squared”. Not on Delenn, anyway. I’ll update this when I get that far if it turns out I’m wrong.
• Would the Minbari really have killed Valen to preserve the secret? I’m fairly sure Delenn knows who Sinclair really is (or will be). But if the rest do, why would they want to kill him? Something doesn’t add up here. Perhaps Satai Chubby isn’t Religious Caste, and only the Religious types on the council know the whole story.
