Reflections

It's been hot this past few days.
I need to stay inside an airconditioned room to cool down.
The sun is shining too bright outside.
The heat is burning my skin.
And with Only two weeks left, school year 2011-2012 is gonna be over.
Yay! That means summer vacation!!!

I can always hear noise and laughter by the swimming pool downstairs.
So everyone already feel it.
The evidence is bright and clear
As the sky is clear and blue.
There's no denying, summer is on!!!


This is My favorite time of the year
Time for my vacation
Time to go home visit my family
Time to once again enjoy the breeze and the sceneries of the countryside.
And Time to hit the beach!!!

From May 28-June 12, 2011, Filipinos are encouraged to display the Philippine flag at home, school, government and private offices and other buildings in celebration of National Flag Day.

This is in accordance to section 26 of the Republic Act no. 8491 or The Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, which orders all offices and Public venues to display replicas of the flag.

This year's celebration also marks the 113th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12 when the first Philippine flag was first hoisted at Teatro Caviteno by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo in 1898.

"The Philippine flag symbolizes our unity as a nation and colorful history of how our forefathers fought and died for the independence we are enjoying today. Displaying it is one of many things we can do to honor the flag but we must also practice being a good citizen and observing the law such as simple traffic rules." says, DILG Secretary Jesse Robrido.

When i was a kid, our games were more on physical activities.
Like hide n seek, hopscotch, jumping rope, chinese garter, running, climbing trees and other local games which requires stamina and flexibility.

Now as a grown up and working, i don't have time for outdoor games and activities anymore.
My weekdays were spent at school and at home.
Then my weekends are for out-of-town trips.
But i still have time to play at home during my spare time.
The child within me remains.
I love playing games and enjoys it!
This is the gamer side of me..

MONOPOLY with a twist!

 

i guess we are all familiar of this game. Well, we have atleast 7 different kinds of Monopoly games at home.

 

MONOPOLY electronic banking-
eliminates the need for money using credit cards instead.

 

MONOPOLY CITY- gameplay retains
similar flavour but has been made significantly more complex in this version. The traditional properties are replaced by 'districts' mappaed to the previously underutilised real estate in the center of the board.

 

MONOPOLY U-BUILD- avariant of monopoly city using separate game tiles that allow for construction of custom game board configuration.

 

MONOPOLY DEAL- the most recent card game version of monopoly.
Players attempt to complete three property groups by playing property, cash, and event cards. (this is the fastest and the easiest Monopoly game ever! )

 

MONOPOLY game on iPad

 

MONOPOLY Streets on PS3- each player take turns rolling the dice and waving their character and token around the city. Collect all the properties within the same color group and construct houses and hotels to earn even higher rent fees.

 

CHESS- the object of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, whereby the king is under immediate attack (in "check") and there is no way to remove or defend it from attact on the next move.

 

SCRABBLE- is a word game in which 2 or 4 players score points by forming words from individual lettered tiles on the game board marked with a 15x15 grid. The words are formed across and down in a fashion and must appear in a standard dictionary.

 

Electronic BATTLESHIP- is a guessing game played by 2 people. It is known throughout the world as a pencil and paper game and predates World War1 in this form. (this is the game i am very good at! i never lose yet in this game. )

 

XBOX 360 games- i love Call of Duty and NBA games on xbox.

 

PS3 games- this is our newest and im still having a hard time using the controllers.

 

AIRPORT MANIA HD- one of my favorite games on iPad along with FLIGHT CONTROL HD.
