Another day gone by watching TV!

Today I watched "Lotta 2, Lotta flyttar hemifrån" and "Lotta på Bråkmakargatan".
Lotta often said in the film, "Jag är konstig."

Ruokala lokki (Mås bespisning)

かもめ食堂。Seagull diner.

My friend and I went to see a movie called Ruokala lokki (かもめ食堂). In the movie, a Japanese woman runs a diner and main menu is Onigiri (rice ball). Cooking scenes in the film showed fried chicken and ginger pork, which made me hungry. After the cinema, we looked for a restaurant for good onigiri. We found out one of our favorite diners was open though it was a national holiday today. We enjoyed grilled onigiri there. Though the film was shot in Finland, there were some Swedish items here and there. Yellow mushroom I picked up in Arboga (Carl Johan eller Kantarel?), Silja Line ferry boat, and some scenaries similar to that of Stockholm, etc.

One of my Swedish weaving acquaintances visited the diner in reality! Here is her report. It seems a good cafe in reality too.

Rosenskära och Morning glory

Last autumn, I got some flower seeds at an art project called Retired Weapons.
I have been waiting for May which is a suitable season to plant cosmos and morning glory.
Today I put the seeds in water for preparation to increase possibility for them to sprout.

両刃の剣。

I had an enjoyable drink with my colleagues and learned some new phrases.
Two-edged sword was one of them.
We also laughed about a Swedish nickname of Nokia 6630.
I even made sure single form and pleural form of them, plus, indefinive and definive.
Lots of fun of juggling language.

Vi gick till bar som heter "Val av augusti".

We went to a bar called "Whale of August". They served various coctails with name of cinema.
You can even order cinema coctails which are not on the menu.

Here are the coctails we tried..
Tokyo monogatari (Ozu movie) = Woolong tea + Sakura liqur
Sun flower = This was delicious, but I do not remember ingredients.
Kikujiro no Natsu (Kitano Movie)
God Father
Mission impossible

big ball = Odama

Jag spela dataspel som heter "Odama".

Hello, Everyone! How was your weekend?

I was busy playing a Nintendo game called Odama.

It is a pinball game + war game + voice recognition.
This means that I shout "Go forward" to mobilize my troop and need to opereate flippers at the same time. Very busy but enjoyable.
