I must be the same pen-type as half the student population because student's FREQUENTLY steal my pens. They can take the cute ones the school provides and I wouldn't care, but they don't. They come in a variety of colors--red, blue, and green.

People prefer taking my BIC(tm) Crystal pens. I can't really blame them. I prefer the Crystal, myself

Have you seen the silk flowers taped the the barrel of the pen before? To keep the pens from walking away from your desk/public table/counter. Just a thought. I'm a fan of the Bic™ Crystal myself. I have them in red. They write quite nicely.

It's not an idea that originated with me, but one made for public offices such as yours. The added bonus is once the flowers are in place, using green floral tape works well, is that when all the pens are in the holder they masquerade as a colorful bouquet.
