Imagine you are feeling really really bad for a number of reasons, not to mention you have a rip-roaring case of FLU and you are coughing and sneezing and every muscle aches and you never want to leave your bed, again. Now, imagine you took three Benadryl tablets before you went to sleep so you could sleep. Now, imagine you wake up a couple of hours later and you are really groggy from the Benadryl and your mouth is dry as the Sahara in mid-summer and you want to get something to drink. Now, imagine you stumble into the kitchen and you don't turn on the light because you don't want the blazing lights to wake you totally up and you see a bottle on the counter that reminds you of apple juice, but you are too groggy to wonder why it's on the counter instead in the refrigerator and you are too groggy to wonder why the cap feels kinda slippery and funny.

My advice to you is not to drink right out of the bottle because you feel too bad to search for a glass in the cabinet. It's probably olive oil.

Awww poor Kay. I hope you're feeling better now. Never mind about the olive oil - a good slug of it a day keeps the veins and arteries happy and healthy. Not to mention, it probably somehow moisturizes the skin from the inside out too.

I feel your pain. Flu is no fun at all. But olive oil?! Poor thing! (Reminds me of the time Robert stayed over at our friends' house after they'd been out drinking. He woke up the next morning and mistook his friend's tube of IcyHot for toothpaste. Woke the whole house up!)

Hello, K4, this is the first time I visit your blog. I contacted you by a common friend called number 3.

Hey dear, I feel the same drowsly and my nose is starting to flow, my eyes are draining and I think I'll get a cold.... damn thing cause I have a date tomorrow with a special girl...
I´ll go to drugstore and get some aspirins so I'll be sexy too, doctors recommend it for many reasons includding that kind of power yeah... for very succesfull dates.
I don't like aspirin because of stomach reactions to acid formula but soon we'll be ok.

Thank God I've dodged the flu thus far! I am sorry you haven't.

That said, I loved the set-up on that little story; very cute. It's been a while since I've been back in Opryland and it's good to catch up with my lone friend here. I trust you are feeling better and not guzzling anymore EVOO.
