Why I choose the Opera browser
Fast, Stable, Innovative(despite the blatherings of FFFanboys). Opera is guaranteed to always load the page for me(excluding the poorly designed ones).
Crashes the least of all browsers, an if it does, it automatically picks up from where it left off.
The joy of seeing blocked popups notice of malicious content that would have hijacked IE(and sometimes IE via FF).
And with built-in features, the continued frustration of each update of Firefox breaking extensions never bothers me. And most internet users, really dont give a damn about whether the software is open source or not.
True it's not perfect, there are some user friendly considerations to take into account, like a feeds icon in the side panel(seperate from mail) would be good. Updates delivered similarly to FF and IE, but even so, it's great to have a browser that doesnt get in my way.
If only those lazy developers at Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and many other heavily used sites would code properly to the standards and not to specific browsers, i'd be exstatic.
