I don't know if this ever aired here in South Africa! sherlock .
But the characters look strangely familiar! left .
Note that we didn't own a tv until around 1982-1983ish! p .

South Africa mostly aired either it's own productions or BBC productions or, as with radio serials, rip-offs of BBC productions! America tried hard not to sell it's tv shows to South Africa! (although Star Wars made it through somehow? confused )

I probably did watch an episode or two! but they were quickly overshadowed by WillieWallie, Die Kraanies and Haas Das - die Nuus Kas! (yes, they were all Afrikaans so I had to learn 'Die Taal' in order to understand the lack of a plot.! p )
