These layouts are designed for v15. They will not work with earlier versions. Each layout file is prefixed by "v15" to help distinguish it from earlier layout versions. SOM, layout, screen

The file names reflect the screen resolution used for the development. The name to the right is the contributor's StratFan forum screen name they used when submitting the file. The image to the left gives you an idea of what the layout will look like on your desktop. However, your results may vary depending on your specific computer settings. For example, I've changed the various files used as background images/colors on my computer to make it easier for me to see things. Please post your questions or send me an email. And, please feel free to pass along any layouts you wish to share.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The images shown here use a set of custom backgrounds. It is NOT necessary to use these custom backgrounds. The layout files provided below will work with the original background images.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS

The background images are located in the ?:\CDROMBB\Data folder. (? represents the disk drive where you installed your version of the game) Be sure to MAKE BACKUP COPIES of the original files before replacing them with the custom files. After making the backups, unzip the custom background folder and copy its contents into your ?:\CDROMBB\Data folder. Also included is part of the game's help file that covers screen layout design.

CUSTOM SCREEN LAYOUTS

Use the link to the right of the picture to download the layout file. For most browsers you can right click on the link and select Save As from the drop down menu. Save the file into your Data folder.
