Jonathan K. has created a face pack for 1993. Unfortunately, the file for this set has become corrupted. If Jonathan sees this message and still has the set, I'll be happy to upload it if he will be kind enough to send it to me. In the meantime, I've created my own photo set for 1993. It was a labor of pure enjoyment, Ken, and a good learning experience. I would estimate that on average I did each player's card three times, making changes as I came to better understand the software and as I discovered cleaner pics.

Some might wonder why I trimmed out the borders for the most part. In the old days, cards were often partial body shots, posed rather than taken in action. On modern cards, a pic of the player playing baseball is the norm. That typically means full body. With only 90x135 to work with, especially against a non-contrasting background (white uniform against crowd), I couldn't spare the pixels for white space. In brief, the base set is 1993 Topps, secondary is 1994 Topps, and after that it was whatever I could find.

nice! Personally I perfer the body shots as opposed to head shots or action pics. I like the see the guys face with the uni. A good pose shot. Finding good pics is hard and tedious...I know what u've gone thru!
