I'm considering switching blog sites. My Opera doesn't have enough people who are similar to me. There are no poetry or craft communities, and no hint of interest were I to start one. There is one other problem that I have here, that I never had at other domains. There are creepy people who barely speak English, trying to friend me; looks like the kind of people who think that living in the Westernized world automatically makes you promiscuous. Is it offensive of me to refer to them that way? I hope so.

As far as creepy people trying to befriend you, I think the girls on My Opera get more people wanting to be their friends than guys. Plus, I think some of them are spammers trying to get you to view their "About" page so you will click on their home page link and go to their spammer site.

I don't know much about any other communities (MySpace, Facebook, etc.) but I'll bet they have their ups and downs as well. I searched for Crafts in the My Opera Groups, but there was nothing. You could maybe start a crafts group yourself...
