Life and other crap

This should prove it. I AM the king of procrastination. Been delaying writing this post for about 3 weeks now. First it was cricket ( the Twenty20 championship - which India won in a dream final against Pakistan. What a match!!!). Then it was internals (for which I didn't study at all). And now its movies, books and music.
Firstly, the Twenty20 championship. It was made better (for us at-least) by the fact that India WON IT!!! Its been a long time since India won anything that substantial in World cricket. It concluded with India beating Pakistan by 5 RUNS in a breath taking finals. I was jumping up and down with pure ecstasy when Misbah Ul Haq miscued that ball straight into Sreesanth's safe hands. More moments like this and I needn't go to the gym to be 'trimmingly' fit.
Secondly, the internals. The internals went badly (as expected). Will probably get all single digit marks, which I believe is a small sacrifice for having witnessed a great cricket final. But it'll be hard to explain all that to my parents.
As for movies, I've seen a lot of them in the past few weeks. They range from neo-noir (Memento, Usual Suspects, Fight club, Blade Runner) to thrillers (Se7en, Fargo) to comedy (the Jerk, Pink Panther, Monty Python series) to animation (Toy Story, Toy Story 2). Clearly a lot. In music its the same old classic rock, from Lynard Skynard to Alice Cooper, from collective soul to Meatloaf. In books, I've stuck to Martin Amis and Edgar Allen Poe.
Ok, I'll stop the endless drone now. I promise now to drag my ass up to the computer and update the blog often ( Good news for my only fan).
