The Truant Tales

Exactly a year ago, a very bored boy logged in to my.opera.com and created a blog. hoping to touch the lives of thousands of people through his pearls of wisdom. His little brain was full of ideas - the blog would contain life altering stories, inspirational tales of heroism, words of advice and start a revolution that'd ultimately bring peace on Earth.

But as he was writing the first post, he realized that it needed to be 'spiced up' to bring in some readership. After editing the post, the original ideas of inspiration, motivation, a peace revolution was replaced with bad Michael Jackson jokes, a few quips on George Bush and references which only a few Bangaloreans would comprehend.

That's the sorry tale of how I started this blog. With no beginning, no middle, no end, no wit, I wonder how people continue reading this. I guess it'll be one of those questions that'll remain unanswered till the end of eternity. Like, how does Jack Nicholson still attract chicks 80 years younger than him? Or, which relative of his is Keith Richards going to snort next? Or, how does Bill Gates continue to get richer from his softwares, which are more flawed than George Bush's Iraq War plan?

Nevertheless, I'd like to thank my patrons (technically only 'patron', but a little lie never hurt anybody). I'd like to thank anybody jobless enough to comment in my posts, vote in my worthless polls or seen the photo album. Until next time, Cheers .
