Today, I received a Question from my student.
"How long is a key on your Harpsichord ? "
mmm
... mesured it. So, on my harpsichord, it is 156mm for 7key.
7key is a octave.
It's numerically in 18C French Harpsichord. My harpsichord is Taskin model. This is 18C French Style. faithfully !!
It is very interesting, the question from students

Because I am not good at speaking English. It's a true. My friends know it.
But I want to have a best, for all my friend. So I talk about the Harpsichord and the Music for this instrument.

I give a concert in 13 March, in Osaka. I play with the Recorder player, Kayo. She is a senior of the University.
She is my friend. And we play the music. But this concert is our first concert.

Hallo! every one!
I do over again the long time that I can't write in this weblog.
I received many private message. My friends, Thank you!
In Japan, Today is 2nd November. Though it's autumn , daytime temperatures sometimes reached 23 degrees C in Osaka.
Now I'm getting ready for Concert of December and Spring.
The day before yesterday, I went to Akashi city, Hyogo, Japan. And I made a preliminary inspection of the place for our Spring Concert. What kind of a space ? We need it for thinking about sounds.

Recently, I have not a chance that I use English. So I think that I forget English. I try to write this weblog again.

Barocco Impression Plus!.This project is the Concert Project for Baroque Music by Oboe and harpsichord. This site is written by Japanese, but I'll be written by English too.
We'll give a concert in this month. This concert is the third project.

By the way, 29 Sep 2008, I've given the Concert at Rikkyo St.Margaret's college School, St Maria Chapel. Performer are Mio KITAMURA ; Soprano and Seiko NAKATA ; Harpsichord.This is the leaflet of the concert.
I get photos. I update the photos. These are the landscape of rehearsal.
Mio have on a dress for the concert. But I put on a wear for daily life.
When we rehearse with confering about music.

Aroma, Essential Oil
After a long time, I write this weblog.
I like the Aroma:heart: ex. Japanese Aroma; Okou, Perfume, Essential Oil, Herb Tea and so on.
The day after yesterday, I bought a new essential oil "Orange".
I bought the first a kind of orange.
I'll use the essencial oil for "Aroma Lamp" in my Instrumental Room.
I used essencial oil of Lavender.
If usual, we use the same oil, we'll be paralysed for our olfactory sense.
I think better that chang others oil.
So I bought it.
In shop, I found the good harb tea.
My grand mother introduce the shop for me.
She like the Aroma. Perhaps from her gene.

Sure, I played the Harpsichord. The violin was play Guests, Tomoko Kawachi.
She is Violinist and Violin's maker.
She plays the Baroque Violin and the Modern Violin.
By the way, 5.May, it is my birthday.
After the Concert, My Friends played the Happy Birthday song.
They are play the Recorder. They played the song by recorder.
It was very glad.

Nederlanders
I study Nederlanders. This year is the 3rd years.
But I can speak Nederlanders a littele:(

Our class must be the 3rd years members, but There is the 4th years members in class !
Because the 3rd years class unites the 4th years class.

It is long separation, which is doing update on my blog.
Some time ago, I was doing update
on my blog in Nederlanders "Salon bij Klavi". I may forget English and Nederlands
. Because doing update is long separation and it is unusual that I write in English and Nederlands in my life. But I want to study English and Nederlands, so I will have my best for doing spdate.
By the way, I will tell you about my works since November last year.
30 November last year, I have give my Recital at Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Hyogo, Japan.
This program was all pieces of J.S.Bach. Toccata in e minor, Italian Concert in F Major BWV971, Suite in B-flat Major BWV815 and Goldberg Variations BWV988.
28 January, we have give a Concert of "Der Kontrapunkt". This concert was a recorder and a harpsichord. Of Course, I played the harpsichord.
We performed at the Buddhism Temple "Fukuen-ji". It is unusual that we can give a concert at Buddhism Temple in Japan. "Fukuen-ji" have a Concer hall. It is unusual too. There is "Fukuen-ji" in Itami-city, Hyogo.
And I have record about pieces of J.S.Bach in this hall of "Fukuen-ji", Toccata in e minor, Partita IV in D Major and so on.

11th November, I have given the concert in Osaka, Japan.
The program of Concert are
H.Purcell "Suite, C-Major",
J.B.Lully(J.H.D'Anglebert) "Passacaille of Armide",
G.Caccini "Amarilli", Arias of A.Scarlatti,
J.P.Rameau "Les Indes Galantes",
J.N.P.Royer "Zaide" and " Le Marche des Scythes",
G.F.Handel "suite" Hwv430 and HWV 432,
and His Arias from"Alcina" and "Gulio Caesare in Egitto".
I played the Harpsichord with 2 singers; Soprano and Mezzo soprano.
Many listenners came the concert and
some of listenners came from far place, Nagoya, Tokyo and Hiroshima.
I'm very glad.
The concert is made of 4 concert and this concert was 4th.
My nest concert on 30 November in Nishinomiya - Hyogo, Japan.
By the way, I study Nederlands.
There is a dictionary Nederlands-Japanese in Japan.
But there is not a dictionary Japanese- Nederlands.
I use Mac OS X Tiger and I can use a Widget for translation English-Nederlands and Nederlands-English.
It have a problem. Reactions are very late these than others language, for exsample French-English.
Ours teacher of Nederlans returns her home in Belgie.
We ask her "We want the dictionary English-Nederlands".
And she bought it for us.
It is English-Nederlands but also Nederlands-English and very useful !
7.50 euro.
I will study with my best!

Belgie
I got a brown suger from Mrs. Francois.
In Belgie, When we had a breakfast, we eat a bread with a jam and a kaas but also a chocolate and a brown suger.
That are very delicious ! We know it.
The Chocolate is very thin. On the case, it was drew the illustration " It is on the bread". So the chocolate is for a speciality.
I want to baught it, because it is very very delicious. But I did not watch.
I am learning the Nederlands.
My teacher said, " What do you eat on a breakfast ?"
I said " I eat a dry bread or bread with a brown suger."
My favorite Style is the Belgian Style Breakfast, the bread with a brown suger.
She was born in Belgie.
She said "It is more delicious with a banana.
Oh ! I want to eat it!

I have been learning the Baroque Dance since eary this year.
Yesterday, I had the lesson it.
It is after a long time, I dance. Because, some The Lesson Day was same in My concert.
We learned and danced about Courante and Sarabande.
Both dance is difficult.
When we danced the courante, Music is very strange then
It had No Takt !
I think that performer is teacher's friend. But the oerformer is very famous Harpsichordist !
I was very suprised at this !
It is very important for the Dance Music, the Takt is clear.
Players must do it. I think so I must play it, and I want to play it.
Sure some peoples have someone's opinions and some performers have some ways.
And some performer plays some playing and performance.
But I think so...
The Dance Music was danced.
I want to play it , that We can dance.

Belgie, My Thinking, Japan, About News
Today is convenience.
Long Ago, It is not easy that We can read the world NEWS in Japan.
But It is very easy now.
Sure, We can read the wolrd News in the Japanese Newspaper since before.
Now, We can read the wolrd News in the World Newspaper of Online.
It is a very convenience.
For Example...
We can read about the many global circumstances in the Japanese Newspaper and the TV NEWS
; the troubles (conflict), Terrorism and so on.
But We can't read a little News in those.
Sometimes, I read "De Standaard Online", "CNN NEWS" and so on.
I can read a little News there
A few days ago, I read such a News.
" Wiener Philharmoniker is Best orcgestra in Europa"
This News in French Musical-Newspaper " Le Monde de la musique".
It sum up Ten Answers by Critic of Music, "My Best Orchestra of Europa 10".
We can't know such a news in Japanese Media.
It is very useful that We can know about world by internet !
One of My neary daily Works... "Neary Daily" is "Hobo- Nichi" in Japanese ...

3th August 2006, We gave the concert in Hiroshima.
I performed with E,Henseler(Recorder Player), M.Kawaguchi(Mandolinist) and A.Narikawa(Violoncellist).

Johann Sebastian Bach / Sonata No.1, BWV1001 (Solo is Mandolin)
Johann Joachim Quantz / Duett, op.2-5 (Mandolin and Recorder)
Georg Philipp Telemann / Sonata in B-flat Major (Recorder and Harpsichord)
Antonio Vivaldi / Concerto in D Major (Mandolin, Violoncello and Harpsichord)
Jacob van Eyck / Doen Daphne d'over schoone Madght (Solo is Recorder)
Vincent Neuling / Sonata, op.1 (Mandolin and Harpsichord)
Georg Philipp Telemann / Sonata a3 in D minor (Recorder, Mandolin, Violoncello and Harpsichord)
In the day before the concert, we went to Hiroshima, and we rehearsed our concert.
This Concert place was XABIER Hall in ELISABETH University of Music.
We teach each instrumental performing in this University.
We were able to use hall very long time on the day.
We practiced on duo (Recorder & Harpsichord, Mandolin & Recorder and Mandolin & Harpsichord) before the day,but we had the first practice on Trio and Quartet on the day.
But we were not use such a long time.
Because Mr.Henseler, Mr.Kawaguchi and Ms. Narikawa are wonderful players. I had a best too.
The Hall have a Harpsichord but the Harpsichord is used a little.
So I played the Harpsichord for the next day concert.
Because If the Harpsichord sounds is not wonderful in instrumental, this sounds is not wonderful in the hall.
So I played the instrumental for wonderful sounds in the Rehearsal.
I thik that It is one of Harpsichordist's Work. So I had my best.
The next day, in the Concert, We were able to see that the Listners were glad. And We were glad.
I think that Performing with wonderful players is very important.
I want to perform very wonderful music.
I want to be very wonderful Harpsichordist.
So I must be very wonderful Harpsichordist and Musician !
I will do my best !

Music, concert, art
I went to the Concert. 2 Flauto dolce players and a Lute player performed.
The program was all Italian Baroque Music.
I like Italian Baroque Music.
I like Keyboard of Italian Baroque Music as well as ensemble.
These Music have a passion and affectio . I like it.
We can't say that these music is popular in Japan.
But I want to perform these music.
And I hope that Many peopre know these music.
