Czech challenge

After successful end of exam period (crowned with A grade from monetary macro-analyses) I could finally start to train hard for WOC. It is not possible to find suitable terrains for French challenge, but in many places it is possible to find some of key o-elements. Last week I used Slovak youth team training camp in Czech Canada and following Czech middle distance champs. Local terrains were really challenging, with many rocky and green areas. Especially final of middle champs was tough and technical.

I made quite stable race, till the 23rd. control (TV control). Then I lost my concentration and rhythm and fell from 7th to 13 th place. Same as in qualification, I let myself disturb by other runner and lost focus on my own orienteering. I must work on this problem, because in France everyone can miss and only reliable navigator is my OWN brain and compass.
All maps from trainings and competitions are available here:

Next week I will compete again in Czech republic (B ranking event) in mountain terrain close Slovak borders. Start field is quite strong with Michal Smola as a front man.
