Good point:
- There are a lot of synced lyrics include English, Japanese, and Chinese songs (I heard there are Korean also but I havn't tried.)

Bad point:
- The web are completely Chinese. I've to guess. ^^"

PS. At last, I've found a Linux substitute for Foobar2k! It's called gmusicbrowser. D/L@Sourceforge Screenshots&Features

My, my.. I'm really out-dated. Opera 10 is now featuring Opera Unite!

,

Opera 10 is not in Beta 1 anymore. It's looking forward to final release and now the latest snapshot is build 1601 which also features Opera Unite. Download it here.

So.. what is Opera Unite?
Please let me quote what Opera Desktop Team said about it (original post here)

Looking for freedom? Do you want to share things with who you want, when you want? Do you want to stay in touch with your friends, chat and collaborate, without your data being at the mercy of middlemen? Now, with your own web server, you'll be ready to do all this directly from your computer.

We call it Opera Unite, and it has capabilities like File I/O, server-side scripting with Javascript, combined with UPnP support and much more.

The two way internet is here, and with Opera, you're at both ends whenever you run it.

Do you think that sounds cool? Check out our Opera Unite introduction on labs.opera.com to learn more about how it works! If you are a web-developer, make sure you read the articles on dev.opera.com as well!

Opera Unite is included in this snapshot, so make sure you download and install it!

The official page for Unite is at http://unite.opera.com .

Unite is wonderful. I've just tried it for around 20 minutes before writing this entry and I am in love with it since the first minute! (><)

Try it! Just try this new wonderful thing!

URL.in.th

Compare this to TinyURL, I like URL.in.th more. The reason is that URL.in.th includes some words related to the original urls in the shorten ones. Custom keywords that are not in the original urls can be added manually also.

The latest feature of Opera 10!

Tab bar with thumbnails! (Mine is full of things - -")

Available now as Beta 1 @ Opera Desktop Team.

Is this new @ My.Opera?

,

Or I am too out-dated. (- -*)

I've just seen it a few days ago. It resembles me of Twitter though I have never try Twitter. (- -")

What makes you love a blog host/engine?

,

I don't know why I love My.Opera's blog.
I just know that I love it more than many others.
I've tried Blogger, Wordpress, and a few more. My.Opera is one of the simplest ones. It even has no tool to add tags to multiple posts. Yet, I love it at first sight.
Maybe.. maybe because it just similar to my Opera Browser. It's just exactly the combination of what I like&need. No more. No less.

Download tool of the day: Opera!

, ,

There are a lot of websites out there containing music and videos, such as Youtube, Imeem, Grooveshark, Nicovideo.jp, blah blah blah...

There are many ways to download the files we need from these webs but there is only one tool I prefer. Guess what? OPERA!

For those we don't know what is Opera (if there are any), Opera is the free, cross-platform, and the fastest web browser in the world, packed with great innovated features which all the other browser always copy (such as tabs, speed dial, userscripts, mouse gestures, site preferences, browser identification masks, online profile synchronization (Opera Link), beautiful skins, custom searchs, find as you type, and many many more).
Download it at http://www.opera.com/browser/download/ .

First of all, let's talk about "just how to download those files using opera?"
It's really simple. Just watch the video or listen to the music you like on the site you prefer using Opera and the files will be downloaded to your computer autometically.

"And where are those downloaded files?"
They are in your Opera's cache folders. If you are not sure about how too go and get them, follow me.

#1 Type opera:about in your Opera's address bar and press Enter
#2 Look for the path to your cache folders under the Path section. You will see something like this picture. The path is the line with orange hilight. (Note: I'm using Linux. If you are using Windows or Mac, you will see the page with same appearance but different path)

#3 Select the path to your cache folders. Skip the word Cache in the front. (Ex. mine is /home/r/.opera/cache4/.) Right click on it and select copy.
#4 Go to your cache folder by open a file manager (file browser, My Computer, or anything you use to go to places in your computers). Select all the text in the text box that tell you where you are now (such as My Computer, My Documents, C:\, /home, etc.) and delete it out (ie clear your address bar). Right click and select paste. The path you saw from the #2 step should be there in the box. Press Enter
#5 Now you will see a lot of files named opr00XXX. Arrange them according to their size. (Right click and select Arrange by > Size or something like that, I guess)
#6 Scroll to the largest files in the folder. The files you need should be at least 1MB. Try opening them with your media players, start with the biggest ones. If your player refuse to play any of the files, maybe you need a simple media player to help you. I would suggest Media Player Classic for Windows and MPlayer or VLC for all the three os.
#7 The last step after you find your files is to copy them to the place you want them to be and to rename them. I think you know how to copy files, but renaming is a bit more complicated. Normally, the files from youtube are flv files, but some high-quality ones are mp4. Imeem's are flv. Grooveshark's are mp3. Nicovideo's are flv. If you already know which format your files are, you can rename it to whatever name you like plus ".flv" ".mp4" ".mp3". But if you do not know, your media players (which can play your files here) or the three I suggest in #6 can help you. Just play those files one by one, find their properties, and see whether they are Flash Videos (flv), MPEG4 (mp4), or MPEG3 (mp3).

These may be a bit complicated but it will be easier after doing them a few times. I think this is the only disadvantage of using this method. However, the advantage is that you can download just everything you want to without finding specific software for each one.

Anyway, there is a software which helps simplifying these processes. The software is called OperaCacheView. It is easy to use, no installation required, and its size is just 61.7 KB (o_O!). It works with Windows and Linux with Wine (but you have to give it the path to your cache folders. I tested it on CrunchBang).

This guide, I think, is quite unclear. I tried to write it quickly (because i'm going to bed late already, tomorrow is full classes and i have to wake up early (- -") ) but end up spending two hours with it (= =*). If there are anyone reading til this point, I want to tell you that I'm really glad and wish that what I wrote is helpful for you. If possible, please leave some comments (even one smily or emoticon is welcome!). Feel free to write. Don't worry about your English. (I'm not that good in English too.) I will be really, really glad to see some responses. Thank you.

OH MY GOD! I found it at last, viewing selection source!

,

By using some bookmarklets, I can find the way obtaining a 'view selection source' similar to FireFox.
What is needed is a 'view selection' bookmarklet from Opera Browser Wiki :: Opera Bookmarklets Page and 'view source' bookmarklet that I cannot remember where I got it from.

View selection bookmarklet
javascript:(function(){ var d=open().document; d.title="Selection"; if (window.getSelection) { /*Moz*/ var s = getSelection(); for(i=0; i<s.rangeCount; ++i) { var a, r = s.getRangeAt(i); if (!r.collapsed) { var x = d.createElement("div"); x.appendChild(r.cloneContents()); while ((a = x.getElementsByTagName("script")).length) a[0].parentNode.removeChild(a[0]); d.body.appendChild(x); } } } else { /*IE*/ d.body.innerHTML = document.selection.createRange().htmlText; } })();

View source bookmarket
javascript:var oSrcWin=window.open('');oSrcWin.document.write('<pre>'+document.documentElement.outerHTML.replace(/</g,'<')+'</pre>');oSrcWin.document.close();oSrcWin.focus();

Just select something and use 'view selection' bookmarklet first, when a popup shown up just use the 'view source' bookmarklet.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Select something

Then it's 'view selection' bookmarket turn.

A popup showing what you've selcted

Now, the 'view source''s turn.

And get what you want!

ของใหม่มา บางอย่างก็หายไป...

Opera 9.20 Build 8732
New: Speed Dial
Lost: Start Bar

Speed Dial

Zickr!
