I wonder

Well, after going to the doctors last wednesday and finding out that I've got a flu I've be wondering... If a person goes to a doctor with both a flu and pneumonia, could the doctor realize that the patient has both? I ask this cus the symptons are supposed to be somewhat alike

Yes, the MD should realize it. I'm sure he listened to your lungs? The best way to rule out pneumonia is a chest x-ray.

Flu since last Wednesday should be soon over. If you are still running a fever, go back to the MD.
