So Zé, please translate some expressions from comments !
I have ENG,POL,ITA and I'm waiting for POR translations !

Maeva 25. August 2007, 14:02

What about pronunciation? I can submit pronunciation for Italian and Polish (Polish words - English pronunciation), because I know Italian a little bit and English a... big bit?. P:  And I can teach French, but I don't think you want me to. P:

***

Kuzan, bloga zaniedbuję, obecnie mam ciut ważniejsze sprawy niż udzielanie się na blogu... :> A kartka powinna dojść przed rozpoczęciem roku, ale niczego nie obiecuję.

joeshy 25. August 2007, 14:34

Italian pronunciation is very very easy even if initially there are some rules to learn. but they are always the same ones. for eg. In english the double o have a different sound In "good" and In"blood". In italian language this doesn't occur never. it isn't up to me to say but every help is welcome. :left:   kuzan? you agree?! :D

Maeva 25. August 2007, 15:04

Let's say that Kuzan agree.

Italian pronunciation is very, very, easy as you have already said. I spent a lot of my holiday time in Italy when I was younger (err, five years ago, when I was seven?) and reading is very easy for me (but I understand only a little bit - maybe because I learn French and these two languages are similar ). I can only count in Italian (and some easy prashes), but my mum learns Italian (but it's horrible for me - she loves saying Italian phrases when nobody understands it...).

So... Some stuff for Polish learners:

[wielkie litery oznaczają akcent padający na tę właśnie sylabę]

buoni amici - [BŁOni aMIczi]
ciao - [CIAo] P:
grazie - [GRAcje]
arrivederci [ariweDERczi]
come stai? [KOme staj]
piacere di vederti - [PIAczere diweDERti]

I'll submit Polish pronunciation on... Monday, I think. I still have got some holiday :D, and some free time, but writing about Polish sounds is more difficult for me. I've never taught Polish... Or, if that's better for you, I can attach sound recordings of these words. Then... Maybe grammar (Polish grammar is one of the most difficult in the whole world so I forewarn you...), vocabulary, pronunciation (Polish language sounds like a humming river, someone said )... And you will speak Polish like Polish natives.

I think that my English is horrible. P:

Kuzan 25. August 2007, 19:01

Opera connects.

Amen.

joeshy 26. August 2007, 06:42

:faint: disconnected rip amen! :D

Maeva 26. August 2007, 08:19

Bóg zapłać. P:

[sorry, I do not know how to say it in English ]

Anyway, English pronunciation for Polish basic expressions:

[English - Polish - pronun.][big letters - stress]

Good friends - Dobrzy przyjaciele - [DObshy psheeyaCIEle]
Hello - Cześć - [cheshch]
Thank you - Dziękuję - [jenKOOyeh]
Goodbye - Do widzenia - [doh veeDZEnia]
How are you? - Jak się masz?/Jak leci? (second is more informal and it's used more often than first because it's shorter) [yahk sheh mahsh?/yakh LEhchee?]
Nice to see you - Miło cię widzieć - [MIwo cheh VEEdziehch]

[recordingd - tomorrow or on Tuesday]

José Torres 28. August 2007, 15:31

Hello

- Nice to see you = é bom ver-te

 I don't forget:)

joeshy 31. August 2007, 23:15

hi Kuzan, hi to everybody.sorry for the delay but at present I have not much spare time.and besides never expected how much efforts were called for carrying out the project of making other language people really capable to understand your mother tongue.but I don't give up with my work in the learning program I preparing. In behalf of all for the pronunciation I would suggest to refer to the phonetic symbols result of international agreements. :D

joeshy 1. September 2007, 00:21

I think the first rudiments of a language are the verbs,pivots of the rests of grammar elements.so I propose now,the conjugation of "to be(essere)",indicative present.I am(io sono),you are(tu sei),he/she/it is(egli/ella/esso è),we are(noi siamo),you are(voi siete),they are(essi sono).note:the pronoun is used just In conjugation.In spoken language is used only to emphasize the subject.otherwise is omitted.work in progress,guys.work in progress! :D

Kuzan 1. September 2007, 06:52

Ok, good idea, I'll translate it when I'll have materials in portuguese !
Please translate Ze post from 28. August 2007 !

Maeva 1. September 2007, 07:19

I'm so sorry that I cannot give you these recordings... You know, new school year, shopping (books, notebooks, etc.), I've got my whole family from Poland in my house. :\

Err, joeshy, you mean IPA? It is a bit more complicated but I'll try (if I'll get some free time).

joeshy 1. September 2007, 13:27

right that. IPA. acronym of INTERNATIONAL PHONETIC ASSOCIATION that gave origins to the INTERNATIONAL PHONETIC ALPHABET very helpful to all the people of different nationality. Psst... I didn't remember that. So I take a look at the dictionary. but don't say a word to Kuzan and Zetorres

Maeva 1. September 2007, 14:46
