WELCOME TO MY GARDEN

, , , ...

Welcome! Look at my new garden!

Thanks to Suntana, I have a beautiful new garden to enjoy. I give him the credit for coming up with this design. I got to select some of the colors and the words in the header, but otherwise, it is all Suntana.

Because of my gratitude, I am offering him Giant Burritos from El Lugar for the rest of his life (as often as he wishes). And I hereby offer him a Dr. Pepper toast. Salut! Carlos. Thank you so much.

I am offering here an invitation to all my Opera friends...and any other visitors who happen by....to enter my Garden and have a nice, relaxing experience. Take your shoes off, let your toes curl into the soft green grass, circulate, talk to everyone, bring a picnic lunch if you like. Most of all, I want you to have a good time here. The gate to my garden is always unlocked.

So, without any further verbiage I want to again say WELCOME! LET'S PARTY! And if you don't leave a nice comment, my serpent will bite you!

BRUNO TORFS, AUSTRALIAN ARTIST

, , , ...

I received an email recently that I have been trying to figure a way to put on my blog page. It had to be opened in Microsoft Office Powerpoint Viewer, and showed each scene enframed and full screen. Well, I could not figure a way to transfer that to here, so I went online and started searching.

Bruno Torfs had a studio and art gallery in Marysville, Australia. Part of the land he owned was a piece of the Australian Rain Forest. In February, Australia was ravaged by bushfires and the studio, their home and the outdoor sculpure garden were lost.

Not to be defeated, Bruno Torfs is rebuilding his gallery AND the sculpture garden. I went to his website and discovered this info. DVD can be ordered, named Deep Within of his work. All copies of original DVD were also lost in fire but they have made new ones. A visit to his website is worth your time.

Meanwhile, I found videos of his work on YouTube. Following are a couple of them.
I think this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. See what you think.
