Oh the feeling of being young, seeing the world through youthful eyes, watching and waiting for things to unfold, gazing in joy at star filled skies. The years pass by, time does mount; age and reckoning begin their count. Life lays its hands on youthful face, covering innocence with increasing pace, until one day, one year one decade, has painted all that has been made. I challenge Time, though it will not hear any reason or plea for it has a deaf ear, but I shall not bend to its burden of fear. I hold up my face to the new day's sun, my heart full of hope, for I am not done. I greet each new morn and dance to a rhyme that tells me within that I still have time. Happy Birthday to me I gain one more year, I tell me I'm younger, and that's good to hear.

It's so wonderful the celebration over at the Castle. I do hope others who read our blog here will also come over to join us in songs and dancing and celebration there.

I don't believe I have ever read this poem of yours, Loku before today, but I suspect it is posted at your other place.
Never the less, I LOVE this poem.

Glad you found your way along the perilous path to our magic-shared-place , as you avoided being harmed by rogues and knaves and fools on your journey to here. Praise be!

Dear Opera's friends, I'm sure you know about the famous project Matthew Harding - http://vimeo.com/1211060
I decided to make my own little project)) Soon will be birthday my good friend David. And I want to congratulate him with your help. Idea of the project:
People from all over the world recording on video his congratulations: "Happy Birthday, David!" You can do this in a bar, on the street, next to the showplace in your city. The main thing - that would have been interesting congratulations!
If you have time and desire to help me, I would be happy!)) you need with company of their friends and record video your cheerful greeting: "Happy Birthday, David!" or on your native language. Or, if you can not record video, I'll be glad to take photos (with a visual greeting - poster or anything else).
I'm sure it's don't take a lot of time! But you will have the opportunity to participate in the project on Youtube and just congratulate a good person! ))
Your videos I would gladly to take on mail: Felin@inbox.ru
I’m sure it will be fun to see yourself in project like this!!
Thanks and good luck! P.S. Sorry for my English!))
